With this design, it cannot form a seal with your face.
I wanted to love this. The thing is, there is no padding of any kind around the top of the mask to create a seal. It leaks air terribly unless you stuff the edges with tissue to fill the gaps. With this design, it cannot form a seal with your face. Expensive for a mask that doesn't do the job. I bought two :(

Comfortable, Efficient, Needs Better Straps
I purchased two masks, one for me (Medium) and my wife (Small). I work with hazardous materials and I am familiar with wearing air purifying masks as well as air supplied masks. These masks are quite comfortable and have easy airflow in and out to make breathing through these very good. I am trusting the laboratory testing for efficiency so I'll see how they perform when I travel to China. I had to rush order these in order to get them in time before my trip. Perhaps I can provide a better review when I return from my trip.One thing I would say is that the ear straps are not my favorite. They pull my ears down and I have to make adjustments several times. Since the fit has to be quite snug in order for the filtration to work efficiently, the straps are critical. I would like to see these with an adjustable strap or even a velcro strap for easy on/off. I did see some reviews stating this same thing and for some reason I did not know that there were other strap options from Cambridge. I gave this mask 5-stars for all of the positives (filtration, comfort, ease of use, design), but I would like to see improvements on the straps or add the option for securing the ear straps better to maintain mask-to-face seal

Great mask for smoke!
I recently bought this mask because our air has had terrible smoke from nearby forest fires. Some days, the air quality has risen above 300 ppm (Very Hazardous). I love the comfort and fit of this mask, the medium size fit both me and my mother perfectly, and she loved it so much she ordered one as well! The single respirator valve cycles air out great and keeps the inside of the mask at a great humidity and temperature, while still allowing a fast rate of flow.Something small to take note of: while the elastic ear loops are much better then over the head straps found on most standard N95 masks (this one is N99 by the way), it can get slightly uncomfortable to wear for prolonged periods of time. I've heard of tying a small elastic band between the two ear loops; perhaps I should try this, however, I have not yet because it is not that much of a problem.Overall, this is a great mask and I would recommend it for anyone who deals with smog or air pollution on a regular basis, or maybe just wants to filter out viruses and bacteria on an airliner.Cheers, Adam

Rocking a mask, and feeling ok about it!
Seems to be working so far! Improved initial smell by adding a few drops of Young Living Thieves essential oil right onto them mask. I'm wearing a size large in the pic, which is a great fit (I have a wide round face).

Over all not impressed.
Unable to get area around nose to seal. Tightened up side straps only led to sore ears and red irritated skin, very uncomfortable. I did get a nice upper respiratory infection from the flight. This might have prevented it if it really had worked. Lots of moisture build up and extra heat on your face.

Great tool for us immune deficient zebras
The mask as a whole is wonderful. Love the design, easy to talk when on, can breathe easily. The only thing that I don’t like is the straps that go around the ears. I have tiny ears and because the straps are thicker it pushes my ears out and down. I could easily remove these straps and use my sewing machine to attach thinner straps but I would rather not do that. I will have to wait and see how well it works on helping me live infection free. I specifically bought this mask because I have an immune deficiency called CVID which means I have almost no immune system and catch everything!! Plus I work in a hospital as a nurse. Fingers crossed 🤞 this sucker helps me!!

I would give 5 stars but....
This products works great for my needs. I go to smokey casinos alot and was looking for something to filter all those smells. Smoke and perfumes they use to cover up the smoke. And this works great! I would say it filters 90% of the smell. As soon as i take it off i get blasted with the smell of cigarretes and thats how i know its works. Not deserving of the 5 stars because tge ear loops dont work for me. It folds my ears down when i try to make a tighter seal. Only way i accomplish a comfortable seal and feel is i added an elastic string and tied the two ear loops together and have it run on the back of my head to keep mask on. Once i did that i was very pleased with the mask.

Cute and effective, great buy!
Use this for chemical sensitivities due to a chronic illness. I've tested it a few times and it really seems to work. I don't get the symptoms I did without it. I love the cute, playful panda print. I ordered a large and was worried it would be too big as I have a smaller head but I'm able to adjust the sides enough to get it to fit well. As other reviewers mention the straps that go around the ears are quite thick and it would be better if they were thinner. I flatten them against my head to keep them from pulling my ears out. I also don't wear this for long periods of time either, just 20-30 min. but it does what I need it to do. Would definitely recommend and buy again.
