Dr. OetkerEnamel Ring Mold, 10-Inch

I use this mold to make the Julia Child "Ring of Fish Mousse with Creamed Lobster" first course on special occasions - very expensive but oh so tasty! You absolutely need this type of ring mold to make it, Bundt or Angel Cake pans will not work properly since their cores are too high (when you invert the mold, you do not want the mousse to drop from a height or it will break into pieces - for the aforementioned recipe you are looking at about $25 worth of lobster alone...you do not want this to break up as you release the mold). This mold has the core only slightly higher than the outer edge of the ring mold and it releases evenly, easily and cleanly. The enamel surface is better than non-stick for this sort of application (I have non-stick Bundt and Angel cake pans as well).The mold can also tolerate very high temperatures and cleans up so very easily.You pay the money here, but you get an excellent product that looks as good, after repeated usage, as the day you received it from Amazon.

I love this pan! It's far from inexpensive, but it's a great replacement for my old teflon-lined Bundt pan. I've been gradually replacing my pans made with aluminum and/or teflon with safer alternatives such as enamel. My first cake in this pan, which I buttered & floured before pouring in the batter, released with no trouble whatsoever. The pan comes with a little recipe book written completely in German, with metric measuring units, which surprised me a bit since just about everything else I've bought recently has instructions in several languages. Anyway, I'll be using this for anything I would've made in the Bundt pan, and expect it will be with me for many years.Update: Although I was initially happy with this pan, I find that it is not nearly as durable as the price would have led me to hope! I've only baked about 3 cakes with it, and hadn't used it since the holiday season last year. When I took it out of the cabinet to bake a cake this fall, I noticed that the neck has a ring of rust showing inside and out! It was also pointed out to me that, rather than being a real enamel pan, the finish is actually "powder coat" or sort of an electroplated paint over metal. For this reason, I'm downgrading my rating to 2 stars. It worked fine for a brief time, but the quality certainly doesn't justify the price.

Cumple sobradamente con las expectativas que tenía puestas en el. Ideal en cuanto al tamaño, pues viene perfecto para las dosis recomendadas en la mayoría de las recetas factibles en este tipo de molde. Muy buena anti adherencia y muy fácil de limpiar.

Es ist eine Delle innen am Ring (wahrscheinlich ein Fabrikationsfehler), der zu einer unregelmäßigen Oberfläche und auch einer unregelmäßigen Emaillierung geführt hat. Habe den Artikel zurückgeschickt, weil ich befürchte, dass bald nach der Rückgabefrist an der Stelle die Glasur aufplatzen könnte.Hatte mich eigentlich schon fast gewundert, warum dieses (eigentlich) Qualitätsprodukt beim Verkäufer so günstig war... ist es dann aber in dem Fall doch nicht. Und das Rückporto muss ich auch noch selber zahlen. Also insgesamt nicht so eine dolle Kauferfahrung. :/

lange danach gesucht. Sehr pflegeleicht, da die Form nicht aus mehreren Teilen besteht und so schön eben ist, ohne diese typischen Gugelhupf-Wölbungen. Das erleichtert den Abwasch enorm sowie auch das einfetten. Ohne dem geht's leider nicht, aber das ist auch bei beschichteten Formen so. Und diese Emaille Form kann ich, im Gegensatz zu den beschichtetetn, auch problemlos in den Geschirrspüler geben.

Der absolute Frankfurter Kranz, mit der Form und den beigefügten Rezepten hat es super geklappt und es ist gut gelungen. Toll zum reinigen sehr kratzfest und ein Muss in jeder Kuchenbackküche. In der Verpackung sicher verwahrt und super als Geschenk geeignet. Ich erwarte eine lange Lebensdauer und bin begeistert. Mit dem Durchmesser von 26 cm ist die Form auch nicht zu klein und der Sonntagskranz für die Familie ist ausreichend gross.
