Never going back to paneer again!
Used to get a lot of bloating and digestion issues with whole pulses but I don't get them with Tempeh. Has a lovely texture. I've been experimenting with making Sheekh kabab, tandoori tikka and hariyali kabab. Just never going back to Paneer again! Perfect. Highly recommended.

I would say this tempeh starter is working fine but not best one....

Tempeh at home
Tried this after not tasting tempeh for 25 years. I was looking for tempeh culture for a long time. In South East Asian countries this is available in markets for a few dollars. Anyway I followed all instructions and first 2 days there was nothing happening. But on third day the beans were quickly covered by the white mould and by the fourth day it was complete. This is a perfectly safe food to eat. For the fermentation i warmed up the oven and switched it off and placed the cling wrap covered dish. Many recipes are available on how to cook tempeh online and its a great source of protein.

It never did the job it was supposed to
It should have made tempeh. What I got by the end of 3 days was soggy, vinegary Soy beans with nothing on them.
