Heavier than I thought. Good weight to it. I wanted to show in the pot so people got a feel for the size of it. I was worried it wouldn't be big enough for the larger pot I ordered. This is the 4x10 spider. Kettle is a standard 6 gallon stainless steel pot. Spider goes to within 2 inches of bottom.
