I’d recommend it if you want a very nice set of chess
Very happy with the product, it is as expected, the whole set looks and feels great. The storage drawers are a nice touch, there’s two of them, one on each end for both color pieces. The chessboard is pretty solid, has a nice “thud” sound when you move the pieces, looks good.I recently moved to a new place and my roommate plays a lot of chess so I got back into it, after seeing that I’d be playing chess more often (almost every day now) I decided to finally purchase a wood set, always wanted a good one but never got around it. After thoroughly looking trough amazon this seemed like a good quality set for the price range, one of the main things I wanted was for the black pieces to actually be black not brown.Here are some pictures of the set, I think the horse is particularly nice.

Great Set
Love this set. Pieces are heavy and have a quality feel to them. My only complaint is that the checker pieces are to close in color. I can fix with no problem with a dab of paint on them!

very nice chess set!
This is the first chess set that I have ever purchased (that was more than cheap plastic pieces on a folding cardboard game board). I am extremely happy with this set. The board feels significant and solid and the game pieces are beautifully carved and feel nice and bottom-weighted. My family has already enjoyed playing on this set; it's really a joy! And the drawers to store the pieces is perfect.

Nice Quality
Great chess set. Looks beautiful, was delivered quickly, and the quality is really nice. It looks great sitting on the table - ready for use. I would highly recommend this set to anyone who wants a good chess set at a reasonable price. Frankly, I prefer heavier pieces, but for the money, I really can't complain.
