This item is a quality item despite the low price. All six strings locked in as advertised. The tuners are precision tuners that are very smooth turning. The installation was easy even though the hex head bushing was too short for my chibson Les Paul. I was able to reuse the original bushings without incident. Everything else was a perfect fit. No drilling required. The short bushing is the only reason I did not give it 5 stars.

I recently restored my 20+ year old Applause ae-38. The stock turners had tiny broken plastic washers. Instead of replacing the. I decided to upgrade the tuners because I liked them on my other guitars. I did a little research to make sure I got the correct style, size for the holes and installation was easy. I didn't have to drill additional holes or widen the existing tuner holes. They look similar to the stock turners. They work well but I do prefer a different ratio. These take more turns to tune however I still think it's less than the tuners my guitar came with.

I got my first locking tuners on an Epiphone SG modern, I liked them so much I decided to put them on all the guitars I play most. I thought I’d try Guyker brand because of the price. They turned out to be a very fine locking tuner. I’ve replaced the tuners on five of my favorite guitars and they all tune very nicely and string replacement is a breeze with the locking feature. After using these for a couple of months, these tuners are terrible. They are unreliable, and slip. Unfortunately, I have three sets of these. Already replaced one set. Look for a better product. Furthermore, the company will not support you if you purchases this from Amazon. They state that you need to deal with Amazon. Do not buy this product from Amazon. Once your return period is up, you’re stuck.
