This is just what I need for my 4"H x 19-1/2"D x 13-1/4"W cutlery drawer. A great fit with room left over for my bone shears, can openers, etc.. And it's very well constructed. As shown in the second pic, each of the slot pieces is solid rather than hollow. Knife organizers made with hollow pieces tend to break easily. This one will not break unless you deliberately take a hammer to it. The knives slide into and out of the slots effortlessly; nothing gets stuck. The knives sit in the organizer without sticking up and causing the drawer to get stuck. The pieces that form the slots can be removed or installed effortlessly. Being able to disassemble the organizer is nice so the pieces can be cleaned, if need be. This is one of those rare quality products that are so difficult to find these days. Honestly, I didn't think I would be able to find a knife organizer that would be large enough, well made, non-plastic, and stylish. This time at least, my hours of reading reviews, looking at review pictures, and watching product videos paid off. I believe this knife drawer organizer will last a long time.

After an incident with a knife not being seated all the way down in my knife block and causing a slice to my finger when retrieving it I decided I wanted an alternative way to store my knives. This little block does the trick. It holds the knives laying down and fits an entire huge block of knives in a small drawer. It also opens up a ton of space on my kitchen counter. I used it exactly as it came out of the box, but you can customize it for your needs. Since I just got it, I can’t speak of longevity, but hopefully it will last a long time as it seems pretty sturdy.

I’m really impressed with this drawer knife organizer! It fits perfectly inside my drawer, and all of my knives now have a designated spot. It's a little too large for my taste, and the spacing for sheathing your knife isn't very neatly placed, but it's not a dealbreaker. Definitely keeps my knife in place and not left in chaos inside the storage drawer.

I wanted to get rid of my knife block for more space. This fits nicely in my drawer and comes apart for cleaning. It is well made and attractive.

Storing sharp knives loose in a drawer isn’t safe for you, and it isn’t good for the blades. This gives a nice two layer knife storage, and still fits in the drawer. Keeps blades from being knocked around and getting chipped, and keeps your hands safe from the sharp blades.

Confession: We had used a countertop knife block for decades and I wasn't sold on the idea of a in-drawer knife block but my spouse prevailed. But I must stay that the advantages of the in-drawer block have grown on me, not the least of which is that it frees up counter space and also accommodates many more knives than the countertop block ever did. So now instead of a countertop block and then an assortment of other knives in various drawers, we have everything in one place and organized, from big chef's knife to small paring knives and everything in between, also space for our steak knives. Easy to take out and clean and the bamboo is gentle on sharp blades.
