I have bought 15 different thermometers maybe more and not one of them have been consistent or accurate. I always get a different reading to the point it was clearly not accurate! My son has had a febrile seizure so I do not play when it comes to fevers! He was running a temp yesterday my current 3 had all read completely different numbers so I ordered this one and it was only hours after ordering (Thank goodness) but this thing is worth the extra money for the peace of mind! It is great, bonus part is it comes with guards for each use to keep it clean. It also has a case to store it in. I regret not getting this sooner but very grateful that we have it now. If you’re looking for a new one I highly recommend getting this one do not even waste your time on the others over a few dollars because you’ll be back to order this one.
