Hibiclens Antimicrobial and Antiseptic Skin Cleanser Liquid - 16 oz

I have Hidradenitis Suppurativa which means I have to use special products for my skin. With HS we actually to sometimes use this as a body wash (it's wild). This is a very reasonable price for two bottles of HIbiclens especially as those of us with HS will need to use this product routinely. It is a harsher soap - antibacterial and antimicrobal - so you will want to make sure you find a good moisturizer that doesn't irritate your skin to go along with it. I have a pump bottle that I pour these bottles into and that makes using the soap in the shower very easy. It does make a difference in the number of flares that I have and it does last quite awhile especially if you have a pump bottle that creates a foam with it.

Can’t live without using this as a body wash. Also cured my dogs’ various rashes (it kills everything, not just bacteria and viruses). Irreplaceable. Great for acne and daily use.

If you're looking for a darn good antibacterial soap with a decent smell this is it. When you use it straight without a foamy bottle its almost pure water. When you use a foaming bottle it seems to last longer and still works great. We use it all the time to remove nasty odors and kill germs etc. It's super soft on the skin and doesn't seem to harm us at all. The fact we have babies with ultra sensitive skin and we use it on them is amazing. The large bottles are great and seem to last forever.

This is a great product. I have purchased this many times. I use it for intimate washing when required and for daily use under arm. This size pack is the best value.These are big containers; heavy and unwieldy for everyday use. Therefore, I would recommend buying this plus both the smallest size and the size with the foamer attachment then refilling from these larger containers.

Works great. Lathers very well. Very similar to what you get as a prescription as a pre-surgery wash. Works well to help dry out oily spots for acne, such as your back. The smell isn't super pleasant but it's not horrible.

I love Hibiclens and have been very happy with the product itself, it’s effective and dependable. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because of the pump it comes with. It tends to spill easily and causes a lot of product waste. A better pump design would make this a perfect purchase

I use this for my dogs when their skin allergies are at their worst. Works great helps healing and itching!

This is a long one because I am THAT amazed, impressed, and liberated.I was overseas in June with my best friend, and we discussed body odor and how traditional underarm deodorant was not a healthy option. Many products on the market as alternatives were not cutting it. I explained that I’ve gotten to a point where I go without deodorant four days out of the week because I bathe twice a day, use Mando body deodorant, and eat a lot cleaner and have noticed a decrease in BO.He then told me about Hibiclens and said he uses no deodorant. That got my attention, and I wanted/needed to know more. I was amazed because we were in Portugal, and it was warm, and not once, sitting in the car with him, did I get a whiff of BO. I have been one of those guys my entire life who, if I got a too frequent whiff of BO from a woman I was dating, would end the relationship, and if one of my friends smelled ripe, I would be the friend to inform them of such. I was in the Marines and know what RIPE is. But that was a different time in my life, and I no longer tolerate being around others with BO and am very self-conscious of my natural scent.My Hibiclens arrived on July 9th, and I began the process that evening. In less than two weeks, twice a day usage on my underarms, groin, intergluteal cleft, and feet, I put it to the test, and yesterday, a day I would wear Mando and have a busy day, I went without.Approaching my wife last night, I lifted my arm and asked her to smell me. This was after we had been out all day walking the dog and running other errands. I sweated that day, but she did not detect malodor in the pits. There was a mild male scent (manly pheromones, I would like to believe, lol) but not one that would offend or denote an active day of body sweat.But again, I’m only two weeks in. Then, the more extensive test. YUP told her to smell my hand, lol. OF course, she gave me the look of Is this some nasty male joke? She said there was no odor. Lol. I know TMI, but it goes to show that it works. You guessed it, that hand had just come out of my groin area. No, I didn’t have her smell the other two places, but I can tell there is no swamp butt smell, and the same goes for my feet, as I wore shoes with no socks.As others have mentioned, yes, it can leave that pink residue in your shower. But it wasn’t visible until a cleaning agent was added to the shower. It looked like a CSI black light scene, but it quickly came off. So, I now take extra time and increase the heated water pressure to spray down the shower afterward to lessen that issue. But it is a small price to pay for being smelly.
