I have been dealing with build-up that has become constant and more like seborrheic dermatitis that will turn into sores if I try to exfoliate it off my scalp. I had tried "calm scalp" and it helped, but it was more treatment than preventative and had a strong vinegar scent that took a bit to dissipate. In addition to that, it was feeling impossible to condition my hair in a way if felt smooth and didn't tangle when I moved. I have straight, THICK, hair down past my waist (top of butt crack really) and I was afraid something was changing that was gonna lead to having to cut my hair or even hair loss (family history of alopecia). Doctor said allergies, changed my shampoo and conditioners to their recommended and no changes. Spent a lot of time exfoliating my scalp, carefully washing and drying my hair, not using anything that potentially added to my scalp. But a day or two and my scalp was a wreck again. We have HARD water. Everything in our shower is coated in white from the lime. We haven't been able to add a filter due to the type of plumbing currently installed and it wasn't my first thought about my scalp and hair until my aunt pointed out the difference in her hair/skin when she washed it in hard VS soft water. ONE USE AND IT WAS MAGICAL. My scalp was so clear. No build up, no crumblies, no flakes, no sores, no itching. And it smelt wonderful. The rosemary and mint were refreshing, small vinegar hint but does not bother me at all. AND MY HAIR WAS REVIVED! Smooth, shiny, tame, no rough patches, and I didn't use any other shampoo or conditioner in that wash. I managed to get about two and a half rinses from the bottle and I may have used more than needed in the first one. I am subscribing to this and only this because of the magic it provided me and saved my scalp and hair.

It’s a pretty small bottle and you do have to use quite a bit to cover the scalp, but it smells so good! I use for my husbands dry scalp, nothing else has helped him, even the dermatologist prescriptions. But using this right before washing his hair 3x a week, then using the detox paste in the shower 1x a week, his dry scalp is finally less! I just wish it lasted longer and came in a much bigger bottle! Using 3x a week it probably lasts a few weeks, so I buy a couple bottles at a time. But I notice a difference in increased dry flakes if it isn’t used thoroughly all over his scalp. You have to use quite a bit in sections all over the scalp. If you leave it overnight is leaves white paste all over the hair. The glass bottle also doesn’t come sealed, and comes in a paper Amazon bag without cushioning, so that’s risky for delivery.

This review is for the scalp detox. I have been suffering from itchy scalp, falling hair, and kinda like a wet dog smell even right after shampooing. I get flakes and oily hair after just a couple days after washing my hair. I tied this for the first time tonight. I was kinda skeptical at first because it didn’t come with a seal. It was just open. I did a spot test just to make sure that it is not fake or tempered with. Went ahead and applied a generous amount on my scalp and massaged it a little bit, more like pressing it on my scalp and waited 5 minutes. The liquid has a mild sweet scent and is colored greenish. I felt it tingle a tiny bit on the 3 minute mark. Hopped in the shower after my 5 mins is up. Rinsed it thoroughly and used my normal shampoo and conditioner. I can feel my hair is smoother like it’s cleaner but not squeaky. More moisturized. Probably from the apple cider vinegar. I have done the rinse before and noticed my hair felt the same when I did it. Fast forward 3 hours now and I don’t smell the wet dog scent. I don’t feel my scalp itch but I do see some flakes around my temple. I still have e to figure out how many times a week I need to use this to be effective but I can’t wait to use it again on my next shampoo day (I wash my hair 3x a week). Docking 1 star because it didn’t come with a temper seal.

If you have sensitive skin, I recommend doing a patch test first. That said, the rosemary mint serum worked amazingly well for relieving my itchy scalp between washes. I do have to be careful to keep it away from my face—some accidentally dripped onto my skin and caused a rash that lasted a few days. It’s similar to my prescribed scalp medication, which also warns not to let it come into contact with the face. I don’t usually write reviews, but this product has genuinely helped me. Not only can I go longer between washes, but I’ve also been able to reduce how often I use my medicated shampoo and steroid drops. For me, the purchase was absolutely worth it. Just keep in mind that you could be sensitive or allergic to one of the ingredients, so start with a small amount and see how your skin reacts first. I hope this product works as well for you as it has for me.

I was struggling with dry scalp and dull hair. This product helped with both makes my hair very shiny, and I feel like it also removes some buildup off my scalp. It has a pleasant smell. And tingles a little bit on the scalp, not in a bad way more like a refreshing way.

The scrub won’t come out of the bottle. I don’t know if it’s a fluke or a design flaw. It happened to the last bottle of scrub I had as well. It works really well otherwise, I just can’t get it out.

This won me over very quickly. I've been researching and looking around for specific scalp cleansers for those who have psoriasis or eczema. It can get uncomfortable, and is one of the reasons why your hair slowly starts thinning and your scalp gets sensitive and tender. The key I've come to find is to have a hair tonic with rosemary and apple cider vinegar. There are other ingredients in this, so don't expect it to be amiss of other ingredients that are not natural. However, this works very well. The scrub brush is also perfect. I've tried a few, and this one is the most gentle, and yet is sturdy enough to work the tonic around your scalp without tugging on your hair or helping hair get caught and stuck in-between the cracks of the pieces. Truly, I am thoroughly impressed.

For the past year or so I’ve been experiencing itchy scalp. I can’t go more than 2-3 days without shampooing my hair or my scalp gets so itchy it bleeds when I scratch it. The main problem area is the back of my head, an inch or two behind my ears. My scalp tends to feel sore as if my hair was in a ponytail for a week and I always wear my hair down, so there’s no reason for it. This product has helped so much. It’s reduced itchiness. My scalp is not as sore anymore. I use it after I shampoo and condition my hair. My hair feels a little dry after, but I use a spray leave in conditioner after. I can go more days without washing my hair without it becoming so itchy that I scratch my head to the point of bleeding. I would highly recommend this product.
