Better quality needles than the average set on Amazon
I really like this set over others on Amazon, I got them because the last set I bought had really cheap needles that made it really hard to pull the needle through fabric without catching on tiny strands. I also generally like how the pen feels in my hand!

Pretty good, just as described
The needles and holder are just as described. My only complaint, and it's small, is that the little package to hold the needles is flimsy and fell apart the first time I pushed one out. It's not a big deal for me though because I can just save them in a mini storage bag. Would give 4½ if possible.EDIT - 1 week later. Finally got a chance to use the tambour and within 15 minutes the holder splintered while I was using it. Huge disappointment.

Well made
We continue ordering these for students in a class. Easy to use and good quality. They keep increasing in price which is unfortunate

Easy to use and good instructions
Hook is easy to use, doesn’t take much to learn

Disappointing and cheap
The hook handle is unfinished and rough. And feels flimsy and cheap. There also isn’t a box or container to keep the set so it will be difficult to keep track of. I will be buying from another company and am debating whether to send back or keep it for a back up.

Very sharp point
I had to replace my smallest hook. These have a super sharp point. They are slightly angular. They work fine but I have struggled to put beads on them. I use the beads on the thread method instead anyway.
