These are wonderful. Great for my starter plants, orchids and any other plant that needs light. Love the clip on capability, timer and light settings. Wish they made little replacement bulbs for them.

So, when I originally purchased these lights, I'd intended to use them for a school project. I was comfortable purchasing them in the first place due to their relatively low cost, but with good reviews overall. Because of this, I'd anticipated that these lights would end up a success, not only for my project, but as indoor lights for my live plants in the coming months. Well, I am happy to report that I was right. Though I haven't yet had the chance to test these lights on my plants, they have unequivocally contributed to the success of my radish seed germination. Additionally, there are many features about this light that I love. Firstly, it can be both stand-alone and attachable to the rim of a container. The clasp is also highly sturdy, and the actual pole of the light is flexible, even while maintaining its stability. I admire how these lights were easy to assemble, as well. In fact, they came pre-assembled from the box, so all I needed to do was find a plug to begin my experiment. Likewise, I noticed how compatible the light became with different spaces. Though its heavy mass and grand presentation, these LEDs have a clasp that can help to save space, so you can essentially use them wherever they may fit. One thing to note before buying these lights is that they are equipped with a variable timer. This means that, for whatever time variable you choose, the light will go on and off for equal parts time. So, for instance, if you set your remote on the "3" setting, then the light will only stay on for 3 hours, until it shuts off for another 3, and the process will then repeat. I find this feature to be extremely helpful for those who are busy working and do not have time to manually shut their grow lights on and off. Being as though they are colored grow lights, you can expect there to be variation in the brightness of the lights. Something that I noticed is that the red and blue settings seemed more mellow, thus contributing to perceivably slower rates of germination in my seeds. While the brightness of these lights could be amended, I understand that the need to accommodate for various light spectrums is what leads to the lights' difference in brightness. So, ultimately, this phenomenon is inevitable.

This order is for a pack of two. One of the set was not as bright as the other. I'll use the brightest one for a little more distance and the dimmer one in a terrarium. Will NOT purchase again.

I needed a light for my brine shrimp tank to encourage algae growth, and settled on this LED grow light. Despite its size, it's pretty low-profile. It boasts three settings for light color (red, blue, purple), and can be repositioned endlessly thanks to its clip and flexible neck. I love that it has an integrated timer, I don't have to worry about the growing algae not getting enough light due to forgetting to turn it on. For the price, I'm more than happy with how it performs.

Received item very late in the evening and immediately set it up. Within 12 hours, my plant came completely back to life. My plant was ALL brown & wilted. I went to bed with a dead plant & woke up to an alive plant. Had to cut only a couple leaves off prior to using the light, the leaf & stem was dead. Sorry have no 'before' picture only after. I was not expecting the lamp to work so wonderful and quickly!! Totally worth it the money

Just got it and it’s working so far!! Not as bright as I was thinking, but it’s not my only light, so not an issue for me.

Great for the plants on top of my fishtank.

I'm getting pretty annoyed at stuff being sold on amazon as USB cords and not also selling normal wall outlet blocks with it. This happened a handful of times now and I have to keep buying charging blocks. To me this is not selling items with completion in mind. I'm also annoyed in general to realize that these have to be plugged in at all. I thought they were battery operated since my plants are hanging from a window, but that's on me for not reading closely enough I guess. I have no idea if they do what they are supposed to or not yet - just took them out of the box and was disappointed to see the USB ends.
