About the Author is a literary scholar of the Nobel Prize winner J. M. Coetzee. He is of a Moroccan origin and since 2001 he lives in the Netherlands. At the moment, he is conducting a Ph. D research at Utrecht University on the power of satire in negotiating Enlightenment's ideas and ideals in contemporary Moroccan context.
