Great antenna
I have a small tv in my car to monitor weather from 7 local stations that combined have approx 4 substation each. It's important for me as I have no shelter from hail storms where I live. I have to drive a couple of miles to get under a roof.I've been using a flat indoor antenna with a signal booster and could only receive a poor signal to watch from 2 channels.I didn't have much hope for any antenna to be any better than what I was using. But I was shocked when I turned my tv on. This little lipstick sized antenna pulled in every channel that my home yag antenna mounted 30 ft in the air does. Not only that, but it sticks to the outside roof like glue. It's only flaw is that while mobile, the signal vascilates like the flat antenna. However, I bet all antennas do thisI highly recommend this product.

A Very Good Antenna.
[2020 Latest] Chaowei Portable Indoor Outdoor Amplified TV Antenna with Signal Booster Amplifier,Magnetic Base,16.5feet Coax Cable,Up to 120 Miles-Support 4K 1080p,USB TV Tuner.Brand: ChaoweiA very good antenna. This antenna is designed for a tv with a modern digital tuner made after 2009. An older tv will need a converter box. This antenna is their latest and greatest omnidirectional antenna, good for an advertised claim of 120 miles, including the amplifier. Broadcast TV signals are line-of-sight, so unless your antenna is on one mountain top, and the broadcast antenna is on another mountain top, 120 miles is wishful thinking. Even if you could overcome the line-of-sight problem, at 120 miles the amplified signal would be too weak to be usable. On Amazon, the antenna makers try to outdo each other with fantastic claims about reception distance. It is enough to make you laugh. Do not believe the advertising hype. The older models DVB66 and DTA66 are advertised as good for 40 miles, and 80 miles if you buy the additional amplifier.NOTE: BE SURE TO USE THE CHANNEL SCAN ON YOUR TV, TO GET ALL OF THE AVAILABLE CHANNELS. By placing the antenna on the top of my kitchen refrigerator and touching the metal cover on a table fan, I was able to get 61 out of a possible 69 stations in the suburbs between Boston, MA and Providence, RI. By placing the antenna on top of books in a built-in bookcase, near the ceiling and outside wall, I got 65 out of 69 stations, and even on a rainy day I got 53 out of 69 stations. Location and weather are your main concerns. Placing it near the top of a window should get rid of some obstruction problems, like someone walking through the room, or the next room, or the floors above you. There is a tradeoff in using the amplifier. If you are close to the transmitting tower of your favorite stations, the amplifier will be overloaded by the signal, and the tv picture will be worse.Try scanning the stations both ways, with the amplifier and without, checking for the number of stations received and the quality of the tv picture. Try the websites: dtv.gov/maps and TV Fool to see what stations are available in your area.Be sure to sit at least six feet from the antenna, so that your body does not cause TV reception problems. You should see less picture tiling and TV picture color shifting, as you move further away from the antenna. Also, any obstructions between the transmitting tower and the antenna, will cause reception problems. Hills, buildings, vehicles, and tree branches, are just some of the things that can cause reception problems. All it takes is a passing breeze to move a tree branch and cause a breakup of the TV signal. One more thing to consider. If your TV is very old and only produces standard-definition 480i displays, it may be time to buy a new TV. With 4K broadcasting on the way, a new TV will display 480i, 720p, 1080i, and 4k signals. A TV cable box will work around these problems, even using an old non-digital analog CRT TV, as the cable box will include a converter to convert the broadcast signal from digital to analog for the old TV. With a broadcast antenna, you are on your own to solve the high-definition problem. A new TV is your best solution. Five Amazon stars for this white Chaowei (2000 - Latest) antenna.

Not Good, this indoor antenna does not get reception. Only 1/3 of the channels of my old indoor ant
Update….Since I wasn’t able to return as I just missed the 30 days window. I spent hours trying to change locations, facing north east where my major local cable providers are located and still nothing. I’ve put it on the highest point of my house and nothing still and out of desperation I even routed it outside on the deck and I expected that would work and was good for at least 5-20 more channels and I got 1 more. So 6 channel and it was only a mystery channel with reruns of murder she wrote. Being that this is an indoor I suspect it is not water proof and an refuse to cut a hole in my interior wall and Through my vinyl siding to watch episodes of. Murder she wrote. Sadly I tried everything and I think It’s a lost cause.I can’t recommend this cable antenna and will leave my honest review and some examples below.I was hoping that the smaller design and sleek look would be more appealing, appear more natural and with modern technology provide me with more then the 19-20 channels I used to get on my HD Cable that I would love tv pause. Well followed the directions and Installed as instructed and the same spot of my old 12-15 year old vintage indoor antenna and this one can only get 5 channels. I would prob have kept it as a backup if the channels were fox, cbs, nbc and maybe another local or regional but this got 3 Spanish channels like uni and telemundo and a western as well as the national weather channel. Useless for me and sadly not a good buy. I think the small size and price are indicative of “to good to be true”I would not recommend
