It's good other than the lid...
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Needed to be easy as it was a gift for my son. He LOVES popcorn! Easy to use, easy to clean. However the lid doesn't stay on. What good is it to use this as a bowl if the lid doesn't stay on? I have to dirty another dish after I'm done popping. Might as well as just done it on the stove as I have been doing. Less clean up that way. Not terribly disappointed just really bummed by that one little important detail to me.

Best at home popcorn I've ever had!
I've used air poppers for years and purchased this because of the volume output having two teenage boys. I am sooo glad I did! The flavor is amazing. The popcorn isn't dry due to the fact of adding a small amount of oil of your choice. The texture of the popcorn even allows for better distribution of butter after its popped.Very little unpopped kernels are left.Super easy to clean- I just wipe the popping plate and put the bowl in dishwasher and it's done. One piece of advice is when it's done popping immediately flip the bowl to separate the popcorn from the hot plate as it gets very hot and can burn the popped kernels really quickly. Learned that after the first pop and now when I do that the popcorn is perfect every time.Highly recommend!!

Overall, pretty good machine
This popcorn popper does a great job at popping popcorn. There are few unpopped kernels, which is always a plus. I have found that I need to start the machine, let it warm, then add the oil and let it warm a bit. We were typically making 2 bowls for our family of 7 and the second batch just always seemed less tough and had better taste. I realized the second batch was hotter, so that is why I started doing the preheat. Our family LOVES the popcorn and we have used this popper several times a week since getting it. Also, it really is easy to clean up.A few things I do not like. First, the black lid that comes with the bowl, to keep oil and popcorn from coming out when you flip it over, doesn't fit. So, we just flip our bowl onto a silicone pad and it works just fine. Second, when you take off the base to flip the bowl, the heating element is exposed. Once popcorn fell into the element and caught on fire. Lastly, the paint has already started coming off. It has been just a few months of use. With that said, I am still happy with the product and likely would buy it again.

Best ever
My household loves our new machine! Be careful upon removing popcorn even once turned off popcorn at bottom could burn . The plate will be really hot so be careful with young children around but other than that a little bit of oil and popcorn kernels go along way you don't need alot like I thought please follow instructions and enjoy!

Great popper!
This arrived in excellent packaging. Worked great. The stirrer kept the kernels rotating so I had only one unpopped kernel. Easy to clean. However, one needs to be cautious when removing the popping tray as the heating elements are exposed and create potential for burn injury.

Fun for the kids, a bit annoying for the parents
This item works as advertised - it gets the job done. It is relatively easy to clean-up. My biggest complaint is that when its done popping, and you try to put the cap on so you can turn it upside down and use it as a Popcorn bowl, the cap is way too loose. Probably has something to do with the bowl heating up while the cap remains room temp. Trying to flip the unit over, while holding the cap in place and trying not to burn yourself can be tricky! Also, pro-tip - turn the unit off and flip it over asap when you hear the last kernel pop. Don't follow the time suggestions in the manual, you will burn the bottom layer of popcorn that sits on the heating element if you wait too long. Burnt popcorn smells nasty and ruins the taste of the surrounding popcorn!

Stopped Working After 5 uses
Buyer Beware, after 5 uses the burner stopped working, now I will have to put my self at risk and take to a local shipper to send back, At this price which is double the average one of a pop corn maker I would think it would be top notch. I was wrong,

Nice concept, but...
I really like the way the pan separates from the base as it makes flipping it over easy and cleaning a breeze. However, my two big gripes are that the black plastic lid for the cover does not fit very well an just falls off, so you can't use that bowl to serve the popcorn, and especially not if you tried to butter it. My second grips, and bigger issue, is that it gets too hot. I can't seem to pop more than just a little popcorn without burning some. And a little burnt popcorn contaminates the whole batch (and set off the fire alarm). They put a little too much heating power into that thing.
