Fantastic Lights So Far
I was a bit suspicious that any of these lights would work properly. Hue lights are expensive and need the hub for full functionality. Sengled are nice lights but many reviews on electronics sites are saying the hub is on the flakey side. In general, Wi-Fi bulbs on here tend to be cheap and somewhat unreliable.I received these lights and wanted to set them up. No directions. Ok, I take the lights out of the box and stuck down in the corner hidden by the bulbs' holder in the bottom of the box is the directions. Setup was a breeze. I already had Smart Life installed. I got a portable lamp and plugged it in. Put first bulb in, turned on the light, and it connected and then found its way into Alexa. (I already had the Smart Life skill enabled). Second bulb was the same. The third bulb didn't flash rapidly but rather slowly and didn't connect. I turned off the lamp, waited 30 seconds, and then turned it back on and it connected with no problem. The fourth bulb connected easily. So far they have dimmed flawlessly when directed by voice and I have set up routines to have all four dim to 75, 50 or 25 percent. Very nice! Only time will tell if these bulbs are winners but so far I am impressed. I will update the review in a few weeks or if problems occur. My initial experience is two thumbs up! These bulbs were solidly built and I did not note any quality issues.

Work great with Alexa / Echo Dot no hub needed
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I love that these integrate with Alexa with no need for a hub. Work exactly as they should. Read the instructions and don’t get frustrated. Light is being and bulb is compact. Check the video I uploaded for some pairing and setup tips.

Nice dimmable wi-fi bulbs (could be brighter)
These are nice dimmable lights. I just wished they were a little brighter when set at 100% -- I used two over our lunch table (pendant light fixture) and they are fine, but the two mounted at the ceiling light fixture in a regular ceiling (not vaulted or anything) proved a little too dim, even at 100%. The connection for two of them was somewhat tricky, even if I already had the Gosund app for other pieces of equipment around the house. I had to quickly switch power on/off to make them blink fast, so the app could detect them. Quite weird, since two of them worked right out of the box... go figure! In the end, all four worked and I would give them one more star, were they brighter.Apr-03, 2020: I had initially given this product four stars but I'm removing one star since the Gosund app simply stopped working out of the blue. I asked Alexa to turn a light off and she replied saying that the light was offline. I did a quick test and realized that all the Gosund plugs and bulbs were offline. I went to the app, tried logging out and in again, to no avail. Next, I removed the skill from the Alexa app and tried re-enabling it but Alexa refused to do it. Long story short, I had to look for another skill called Smart Life, but had to reconnect each and every piece of equipment to this new skill/app before everything worked again. I spent a good hour re-setting everything. Good thing the plugs, bulbs, and cable I own still work, but shame on the manufacturer for not providing a reliable app/skill to go with them.

Very very cool light bulbs!
These are the COOLEST lightbulbs! They are a little tricky to pair with the GoSund app, but I had luck going into my WiFi connection in the app during pairing and then cancelling out and seeing the devices show up on the scanner that way then just waiting for the bulbs to get picked up by the scanner alone. I didn't have problems pairing more then one bulb at a time though, I set up 3 at a time in one fixture, 5 at a time in another fixture, and one in a single light and it all worked out. When I tried to pair just one bulb at a time it was taking forever and the app would forget and repair old ones I already setup in the same fixture. I got all 8 bulbs setup that I purchased, and they all are working great so far. I'm so happy devices like these have come out, because now I can dim lights without needing special switches installed. This is great!Others mentioned the bulbs get hot, I had all CFLs in my lights before and those get HOT, these are plastic for the bulb part so I only really noticed the bottoms got warmer after they were on for a bit after I went to adjust/ remove one. The bulbs themselves don't get warm at all from what I can tell even after being on awhile. I have them dimmed though, maybe that keeps them cooler? If you turn the bulbs all the way up they are pretty bright, brighter than my CFLs were and I had 60w equivalent CFLs, so I'm really happy so far with these bulbs. I hope they last a long time like described, we'll see.Definitely worth purchasing, you won't be disappointed once you get them setup. And it's easy to setup with Alexa or Google Home. After you get the bulbs setup on the GoSund app, in the apo go to "Me" in the bottom right corner, like you want to go to Settings, and on the next page click the "More Services" link to see a list of all the other apps like Alexa and Google Assist, which have instructions on how to setup. I got things working great with Google Home/Google Assistant, but I had to read these instructions first. Also, be sure you're connected to your 2.4Ghz WiFi when pairing the bulbs with the GoSund app, if you have a 5G connection, just like others mentioned. Fur some reason a lot of devices still use just the 2.4Ghz to pair and setup, like TVs, DVRs, and smart home devices.
