Shimano Bike Tools Free Wheel Puller TL-FW30

This worked great and removed teh freewheel easily. I was not exactly sure I ordered the right one, but it was the correct one and very easily removed the freewheel. Delivery was quick also.

Perfect item for removing freewheel from older bikes. Made the job much, much easier than it would have been without this tool.

It gets the job done. Kinda pricey considering a freewheel only costs a few dollars more. Usage is pretty straightforward. There's plenty of videos online on how to use it if you get lost. I personally had to use a bench top vise (you lock the remover in the vise and turn the wheel to release the freewheel). Make sure the piece is fully seated before turning so that the teeth are fully engaged. I don't know when or if I'll ever need to use it again so I'm not sure how durable it is but I think with proper use it will last a while.

I bought this item not to remove my Shimano freewheel but to remove the front hub cap on my 2013 Cannondale Lefty. The Shimano FW-30 fits perfectly with very little play, making for a super tight connection between your wrench and the freewheel/hub cap on your bike.

Helping friend to remove her cassette on a Trek 7.1 FX. My park tool FR-5G didn't work. so have to order this one. It works fine but too expensive.

A needed tool for working on cassette replacement etc.

Quick shipping and it was just what I needed to get the casette off my rear wheel. Doesn't have the middle stabilizing rod but it worked fine anyway.
