KETOTEK Smart Thermostat WiFi for Electric Underfloor Heating 16A Compatible with Alexa, Programmable Underfloor Heating Thermostats Controller with NTC Probe Sensor

I got this WIFI Thermostat to replace a basic unit for a combi boiler which went faulty. It programmed in to the SmartLife App and Alexa very quick and with ease. The unit is very nice looking and works very well, everytime. The controls and displays are very clear and simple to operate manually, automatically or by using Alexa. Easy operation within house and remotely to put heating up or down as required. The unit works really well with Alexa with simple commands..ie: "Heating 18 or Up 2 or down 3".. can also question "Whats the heating Temperature" gives you instant temperature of house from anywhere. Also visible & controllable on screen or on mobile. The DIY Installation was fairly easy as I didnt need to go into the boiler for connections, but recommend a 40mm deep back box for unit & cables. I found connections clear, but I do have electrical background. If unsure you will need to get a Gas Safe/Spark Engineer in to install. Basically a great unit, good value which looks good and works extremely well.

I can’t even begin to say how impressed I have been with this thermostat. I replaced one which even though relatively new was extremely difficult to set up the program times on and off. I switched it over myself which was an absolute breeze using the already installed probe. The app excellent and is really easy to use which meant I could program it exactly how I want without having to have the same settings Monday to Friday. It did easily connect to my Alexa devices so I can simply tell Alexa to set the underfloor heating to 30 degrees if I want to boost the heating in between. Only downside is the display which I think could look better and that some of the light leaks out from the sides which I notice at night but that really is a minor thing. Great value for it’s price

I have 3 of these, 2 working with wet underfloor heating and 1 with electric underfloor heating. 2 are connected to underfloor remote sensors. I also have 2 NEST thermostats and apart from the ability to learn (which is a double edged sword) I would rate these as good as the NEST thermostats. I automate the thermostats through Alexa but have to run them through the Tuya app as they cant be controlled properly through the Smart Life app when I set them up (scrolling bars didn’t work). Overall good value for money, work well and look good. 1 star lost because the software is a bit clunky.

Overall I’m pretty pleased with this unit. Installation was simple enough, however mine was complicated by two factors... firstly the unit is deeper than the thermostat it was replacing. Even with a standard size backplate, this new unit wouldn’t fit. So I had to buy a ‘spacer’ to put between the wall and the unit. It’s so much deeper, that even with this spacer, it only just fits, I very nearly needed two. Secondly it was complicated by the wiring for the floor temperature probe, specifically the type of connector at the back on the unit. In the box is a new temperature probe, this has a two thick metal ends which plug into the unit. There was already a probe in place, so rather than disrupt everything I wanted to use the existing one. In theory not a problem, however the new unit wouldn’t take bare wires... no matter how much you tightened it they would slip out and the one time I did manage to get the unit mounted without them falling out, on power up it came up with a floor sensor error message. The solution was the cut the wire provided in the box, with the two thick metal ends, and join the existing wires to the new wire. Ultimately that worked, but was a bit of a pain. However now it’s installed and set up, I’m pleased to report a few good things too. Firstly it’s really easy to use, either via the Wi-Fi app or using the controls on the screen. It’s so much more intuitive than the traditional unit it was replacing which required a degree in jibberish to programme. Switching between the timer programme and manual control is easy and it works with my Alexa and again, this was easy to set up. Secondly, having suspected the old thermostat was faulty, this has given new life to an old underfloor heating system in our kitchen. There is now a nice toasty warmth underfoot and the ambient temperature of the room is greatly improved as a result. Pretty happy overall, but marked down one star for each of the installation issues.

Easy to replace the old analogue one we had, and to install on the phone for remote usability

I've been looking for a central heating programmer and thermostat to replace a battery powered one that doesn't work with Alexa . This one fitted the bill and I ordered it. It arrived on time and I set it up on my workbench. I already have a Smart Life appliance so it was only a few seconds before it was set up and functioning. I was very pleased with the programming flexibility and only found a slight problem with the colours used in the app where some links were shown as white on a very pale grey background so almost invisible, The instructions for setting up were clear and easy to understand but I was a little surprised that there were no instructions about fitting the unit. Fortunately as an engineer I realised how it was mounted but wonder if anyone without that background would understand how to do that. As my CH boiler is switched on by a live mains connection to the wire from the boiler I could use the uncommitted relay output to simply extend that to operate the heating. Overall very pleased with the purchase and hope that it will last as long as the old programmer has. Time will tell but I do like the ability to control all aspects of my CH boiler from my iPhone and can turn it ona dnoff and set the temperature by talking to Alexa.

Bought one and it arrived with the screen badly scratched. Gave it another try, bought 2nd one and the same, very badly scratched, it looked like after a heavy use. With not touch them again

- Livraison : Colis reçu quelques jours avant, emballage ok, commande complète. - Installation pour un radiateur électrique : Livrer avec une notice en français, câblage schématique bien expliqué, nécessite un petit peu de connaissance électrique (au moins être capable de dissocier le neutre de la phase). Le branchement se fait bien (je conseille de prendre du fil souple multi brin de 2,5 car c'est un peu difficile avec le rigide de 2,5 qui manque de souplesse). Cela dit, le bornier du thermostat est très bien fait. - Mise en service : Retro éclairage sympa mais tempo en mode allumé un peu courte à mon gout, il s'éteint au bout de quelques secondes... Appareillage avec l'application Smart Life: Sans aucune difficulté, réussi du premier coup en auto, en passant, comme précisé, par "petit appareillage" dans l'application puis "thermostat wifi". Mon thermostat est tout de suite connecté et reconnu par l'application. De même pour la connexion avec Alexa echo, reconnu tout de suite. Configuration de thermostat ( ajustement de température, programmation...) par l'application très simple, beaucoup de possibilité surtout avec les automatisation ou scénario de l'application smart life. Contrôle du thermostat en dehors de chez moi impeccable aussi. Je n'ai donc pas essayer de configurer ou programmer en mode manuel. (aucun avis) - Conclusion : Fonctionne à la perfection. De préférence, à utiliser avec une application smartphone telle que Smart Life pour bénéficier de tous les avantages de ce type de thermostat. Nb : Ne se connecte pas avec l'application eFamily Cloud.

Langzeiterfahrung überzeugt! Vor zwei Jahren habe ich die ersten drei dieser Thermostate gekauft und war von Anfang an positiv überrascht. Die Tatsache, dass ich nun weitere für den Rest des Hauses nachbestelle, spricht Bände. Die Geräte laufen seitdem zuverlässig und stabil, was bei Smart-Home-Komponenten nicht immer selbstverständlich ist. Die Langzeitqualität hat mich als Skeptiker voll überzeugt! WiFi-Verbindung: Ein Fels in der Brandung! Der wohl größte Pluspunkt und Beweis für die hervorragende Hardware- und Software-Stabilität: Es gab in den zwei Jahren noch keinen einzigen WiFi-Verbindungsverlust! Dies spricht für eine extrem zuverlässige WLAN-Schnittstelle, die gerade im Bereich der Heizungssteuerung essenziell ist. Nahtlose Integration in Home Assistant Der Hauptgrund für meine Zufriedenheit ist die reibungslose Einbindung in mein Smart-Home-System. Die Anbindung über die SmartLife/Tuya App funktioniert absolut problemlos. Die Weitergabe an Home Assistant ist dank der gängigen Tuya-Integrationen ein Kinderspiel. Ich habe jederzeit und überall volle Kontrolle und kann meine eigenen, komplexen Automatisierungen erstellen, die weit über das hinausgehen, was Standard-Apps bieten. Fazit Wer eine kostengünstige, zuverlässige und vor allem Home Assistant-taugliche Lösung zur smarten Steuerung seiner Wasser-Fußbodenheizung sucht, wird hier fündig. Die Funktionalität, gepaart mit der einfachen Integration in SmartLife/Tuya und Home Assistant, macht diese Thermostate für mich zum klaren Testsieger in dieser Preisklasse.

Hicimos una pequeña reforma en casa y nos aventuramos a domotizarla un poco. Que gran descubrimiento cuando compramos este aparato, se instala de una manera súper sencilla, se conecta a la caldera de manera fácil y clara. Es programable y temporizable, se enlaza con los asistentes de voz de una manera muy intuitiva. Posiblemente haya otros mejores con más funciones y de mayor precio, pero si quieres algo bueno, bonito y barato, que cumpla su función y te haga la vida más cómoda es un producto altamente recomendable. irte a pasar un fin de semana y poder programar la calefacción para que a la vuelta esté la casa calentita, es posiblemente una de las sensaciones más gratificantes que puedes pedirle a un aparato de estos.

Molto carino e semplice da installare. L'ho installato in bagno per collegare la serpentina elettrica a pavimento. Attualmente devo ancora settare bene la temperatura tramite la sonda esterna, ma sembra funzionare tutto bene e tramite l'app è molto Semplice impostare le varie fasce orarie, blocco bambini, temperatura ecc.
