Fizik Performance Bicycle Bar Tape - Soft, Tacky & Classic Professional Bike Handlebar Tape (2mm, 2.7mm, 3mm)

Easily my favorite bar tape. Classic look… good feel… solid but not like a crappy OG tape. Good in wet conditions. Lasts waaaay longer than cork wraps. I included a few of the bikes that I ride these wraps. I have even more examples as these are my go-to. I chose my more vintage bikes because they look particularly good on these. I also use them on more modern bikes too. Cork wraps are inferior in every way.

I've bought this tape before so knew what I was getting in to. This is not thick padded cushy tape. If that's what you want, look elsewhere. This is thin low-profile tape, but with Fizik quality. Its great. If you want to wrap your bars with low-key non-bulging tape, then this is the ticket. I've tried all manner of bar tape and keep coming back to this style, and Fizik in general. I've found that this thin tape is just as comfortable if not more and I like the solid feel of the bars just underneath the tape. If you have aero-shaped bars then this tape makes even more sense: the aesthetic of thin tape on a bike with nice lines is, to me, the only way to go. This tape isn't super grippy, but its not slippery: its a nice balance. I can slide my hands to different positions on the bars easily, but never have the feeling of slipping. The thin and slight stretch to the material also make these very easy to wrap. I'm an old school figure-8 bar wrap person and don't ever need the extra piece of tape to cover the lever clamps because of how I wrap the hoods and this tape makes that extra 'bend' in the wrap very easy. If you're looking at this tape, give it a go. I can almost guarantee you won't be disappointed. If you're used to the big fat 3+mm cushy tape, why not try this out and see. You might be surprised how good thin tape can actually feel.

Very good adhesive, you can pull it off and reposition it without any issue. Very strong tape, you don't have to worry about tearing it when you are wrapping. The touch when installed is neither, slick nor tacky. The perforations give you a very easy way to judge wrapping overlap. You do have to pull it kind of hard to get it to lay flat around the bends, but it's a great tradeoff for the strength, adhesive, and feel. It's intended to look like leather. Plenty of tape for one bar.

Quality you should come to expect from Fizik, especially at the price sold on Amazon. 2mm thickness, but feels much better than many other 2mm tapes when wrapped. Classic look, and an upgrade from the stock bar tape. Nice classic color as well! This was a relatively easy tape to wrap. I'd recommend.

Fantastic tape, been used for months, often in rain/snow, and looks new. Easy to wipe clean the dark smudges from hands. Application is a breeze if you know what you're doing

Perfect blend of comfort, performance, and style. Many of the tapes out there that tout comfort are really thick. I like that this is so thick and "foamy" feeling. It has an old-school leather feel, which I like .

I e been using Fizik bar tape for many years and of course when I got a new bike. I went with Fizik again. Wanted a bit thicker tape this time so chose the 3 mm. Makes for a nice solid grip with a bit of cushioning. With a little care the white stays pretty clean. Wipe it off with a clean damp towel as needed. The short pieces to fill the brake lever voids are nice to have. The length more than enough to wrap my 420mm drop bars. Adhesive is solid as I did have to remove one and do again and it still had plenty of “stick”. A little expensive but it should last a while.

This is nice tap with a lovely and very, very soft texture. It's like you're holding on to a stunning Velvet Elvis. However, this had to be the most frustrating and curse-word inducing wrap I've ever done and as a 40+ year cyclist that has always done his own maintenance, I have wrapped my fair share of bars. The adhesive was next to useless (which didn't help), but the toughest thing was the seriously minimal stretch. I had to be very on with my turns and put a bit of muscle into it. In the end, though, it looks and feels quite nice.

La cinta bien, pero el adhesivo es muy complicado de quitar. En una de las cintas fue imposible y se despegó la cinta de pegado y su protección todo a la vez y ha quedado muy mal sin adherencia al manillar. Veremos cuanto dura...., una pena en un producto tan caro.

Al netto del colore che è ovviamente un gusto suggestivo, la qualità del nastro è indiscutibile.
