For me it worked great because support holes in the unit match the holes in my old unit. Didn’t want to make more holes in brick wall when old one broke after 15 years

I have had several "less robust" flag brackets pull loose and fly away, but this one is stout & has held up very well in this very windy spring season. The holes are far enough apart so that installation isn't as hard as others.

The tightening screw to hold the flagpole in came stripped. Cheaply made but its inexpensive...

As usual, anything with the Toland name on it never disappoints! Always good quality and last for years, even in the harsh weather conditions of a beach home in Florida!

Do not buy this flag pole mount. First of all, the item I received does not look like the item pictured. I specifically chose this item because the mount is very narrow. The one I received is much wider at the top and narrower at the bottom. Second, the mount is supposed to have 2 positions (45 and 90 degrees); however, our is about 30 and 75 degrees. We wanted to hang a flag at 90 degrees, but now it simply looks ridiculous at 75 degrees. Third, there is supposed to be a screw on the side to tighten in the flag pole, however ours is angled in such a way that the screw does not hit the center of the flag pole. It scrapes the side of the pole instead. Fourth, the screws that came with the mount crumbled when we used our drill, so we had to use different set of screws. Do not waste your money on this flag pole mount.

I should have heeded what was stated in the first review, but I didn't and then regretted my decision. The bracket that I received is a totally different design than what is shown in the picture. The description states 2 positions, 45 degrees and 90 degrees. This is not true. It is actually about 45 degrees and 75 degrees. I want to display my flags at 90 degrees so this bracket is unacceptable. The actual screw pattern is also totally different than what is shown in the picture. If these two issues are not important, it's probably an okay bracket.The one bright spot is that, I was totally satisfied with the return process.

This is exactly what I needed. Was a bit concerned that it may not fit my flag pole but believe they are all pretty much generic in diameter size. I installed this to replace an old plastic based one that had cracked over time. It is installed on my wooden swing set which I have at the end of my very long backyard. I chose the higher option for hanging flag pole but like the fact that it has the 2 position option in case I decide to move it at a later time. Very pleased with quality of item and delivery was quick. Would definitely recommend this product.

I bought this to use with the "Toland Home Garden 407142 Metal Flag Pole with Anti-Wrap Sleeve" and the pole doesn't fit in this bracket properly. It doesn't feel steady or that it's going to support the weight of the pole and flag, but so far it's held. I wouldn't buy again.

This flag holder is lightweight and strong but it does have room for improvement. This holder would benefit from having a second thumb screw for holding the pole. The holder would also benefit if it included better quality wall anchor screws. 4/5 stars, recommended buy.

Look at others. This is all metal . Very solid . Great deal fantastic price .
