I really like this product. However, your phone will vibrate a lot if the base is not supported. In my case, that does not matter, as the manner in which I installed it means the base of the phone holder is more or less resting on the dashboard itself. This supports the arm and thus prevents it from wobbling/vibrating.If you were to install this higher up on the windscreen, it would vibrate/wobble a lot which would be pretty distracting. I would also say that the phone holder itself should ideally be a bit taller, and the clasps to hold the phone could be a bit deeper. I have an iPhone 11 in an Otterbox case, and the clasps are not deep enough to grip around the edge of the phone properly. That said, it will still hold the phone securely. The wireless charger is obviously super handy and works perfectly well. Those minor criticisms are why I have only rated it 3 stars for sturdiness.

Update: free replacement was arranged, overall service is good. Will see the new one have better quality or not*************************************Recently the wireless charging function only work for less than 10s every time when I inserted my iPhone, then I can see the charging logo disappeared.Sometimes it also happened that the electronic clamp suddenly open itself when I was driving.I have been using it for 6 months, I need to drive average 1-2 days per week, so the charger usage is actually not very high.

My mum has been using since Christmas and has been great. The automatic function of clamping down the phone in place when it touches the charger makes it very quick and easy to set it up each time. Highly recommend.

I have it on my 4x4 and even when off-roading this thing holds steady! Bounced the car down some rocky trails and nope, this mount would not come off the windscreen.So I bought another one for my family car too.Do they make a motorcycle version next?

the stand itself is ok and the wireless charging is a dream.the automating clamp system can get a bit frustrating as it doesn't always clamp my phone fully. it sometimes takes 2/3 goes for my phone to be sturdy enough to drive, but when it does its a great piece of kit. the long arm seems strong enough and has held my phone well (Samsung s9+ and heavy case)the suction is fine, I've got it on the dash (plastic surface not 100% smooth) and I've tried it on the windscreen with no problems.the multiple positions is great as I can use my phone for a satnav and the passenger can swivel the stand around to watch YouTube etc.I brought this mainly to charge my battery and this feature performs well and charges reasonably fast and can hold a charge while using my phone as a sat nav.

I have purchased two of these. The first has been great and does everything I want. The second one started badly because it didn’t easily stick to the dash but I ended up using the fan mount and that did an excellent job. Unfortunately this morning it just snapped while I was driving (as shown in the photos). I can’t go back to the suction cup because that didn’t work so I’m now left with a rather useless charging cradle to sit on the seat next to me. EDIT - customer service have been excellent and offered a complimentary replacement this morning and have been really quick in their correspondence. A big thumbs up to fixing the issue!
