Mammoth Q3® UV-C & PlasmaWave Air Purifier Clean Air for Germ & Viruses Reduction w/ HEPA, Carbon & PCO - Real Natural Bamboo

As a person who suffers severe seasonal allergy and owns or owned in the past several brands of air purifiers, ironically I am writing a review for the Mammoth Q3 (7-stage) not for its ability to remove allergen from the air bur rather for tis ability to remove odor. Currently I have 2 Bluairs, 2 Winix plasmawaves, two GermGardians, and an old model of Ionic Pro (can't remember its brand) running in the house. Obviously it is not going to be fair to compare the Mammoth Q3, which is a small cube, with the above full-size air purifiers in terms of the power of removing allergens. The reason I purchased the Mammoth is to remove the smell from our large dog because it includes all the current perky technologies in addition to HEPA filter: plasmawave, photocatalytic, ionizer, and UV-C. Other products typically only have one or two of these. The minor issue I had with the unit is that it can be quite noisy on any speed higher than the lowest setting. But the price is reasonable for what it does. The bottom line is that if you need a designated unit to remove odor in the house, get this.

Like some of the other reviews, when this arrived the UV light was dislodged.. but it was really easy to snap back into place. And also, the pull straps on the filter broke off for me as well. However, I was able to pull the filter out despite that. Overall, this is working well for me so far -- the air in my baby's nursery feels cleaner/fresher.Pros:Looks like a piece of high-end furnitureSeems to do a good job so far -- the air feels freshCons:Some minor construction/quality issues (noted above)The ionizer is not super strong

The thing was too good to be true. Just recieved mine today and right out of the box it would not even power up. So much for the 5 year warranty, ther3 is no option to have it replaced seemingly..

I bought two of these and I love them. They work great and look nice. It is a very well made product>

Great product so far! Totally satisfied. Asthma had me beat. Been waking up wheezing, using my inhaler more than ever. Plugged this bad boy in and the next morning, honestly, no wheezing hardly a cough. Totally satisfied!

Enjoying this filter, nice and quiet operation, and seems to do a pretty good job clearing the air of particles that were bothering me.

Bought this because its the only affordable and nice looking air purifier I have found. When I leave my bedroom (where the air purifier is next to my bed) my allergies start to act up, so I know its doing me some good! The look is more of a vintage radio than a piece of electronic equipment.

Easy to setup! Just plug-in! Larger than I thought it would be. Looks and feels to be quality construction.
