Ok exhaust did its job sound was atrocious and it’s not real carbon it’s a hydro dip

OK 2 pics, one with the new can and the other pic with the old ones you decide what looks better. I gave it 4 stars because it's super cheap. It sounds tinny and cheap, but it's $35. As for how long it will last. I don't expect much, but again it's $35. if it last for one season it's done it's job. And it looks good. It's a hair bigger than 2 inch id but nothing some rtv red and a clamp won't take care of if you want a real good seated fitting. It is louder than the arrows I had on.

This fit right onto a 51 mm mid pipe which is on a 2022 V-strom 1050 xt adventure. This paired with the " stock catalytic converter" Is the perfect amount of rumble and not too loud. Be careful because this muffler is shorter than it appears in the pictures. It's only about 12 inches long and there's no baffle. I wouldn't use this muffler if I had straight headers so choose the bike you put it on carefully. P.S. The mid pipe is from a different exhaust set up, but this muffler IS slipping onto a 51 mm pipe.

Pipe has leak ,and baffle coming out,very noisy trying to get another pipe or money back but pass return window has passed!!!

The resonator can, that's what it really is .. not really a muffler. It doesn't "muffle" anything. It is nicely made, feels solid. Looks like quality. Finish is very good. Nothing really to complain about cosmetically. Very nice looking. It is however shorter in length than I expected. The overall length from top of the exhaust exit to the edge of the inlet pipe is only 12". The ID inlet on the actual can is 1 15/16". The tapered adaptor small end measures 1 1/2" OD. Mine came with the adaptor jammed hard into the can. Bugger to get out. Sounds nice. Not overly loud. No backfires on deceleration like some aftermarket. Way lighter than original can. In order to connect the can to the the end of the factory exhaust header pipe on my 2015 CB500X, an additional curved pipe section of 6 to 8 inches is needed (not included) depending on how you choose to mount the can. You're on your own to choose a pipe section to do the job. Cutting and welding of the purchased pipe may be necessary to make a proper fit, so be ready to do such work or don't buy. Be nice if the proper pipe were included or at least offered. As is, you have to guess at what you need and then make it work.
