The best vegan cheese. Melts well, easy to great.
Love this alternative. Doesn't smell like vomit like many store own options

Delicious!!
Delicious! I have tried a few different vegan cheeses, this is easily my favourite.

Ok if you have always been dairy free
I buy this for my dairy intolerant son who is very happy with it but he’s never eaten dairy cheese. I’ve tasted it and it doesn’t taste or smell much like ‘real’ cheese if that’s what you are used to. It is cheese like in texture. I have used it for my son to make pizza and sauces and it melts reasonably well. It does need to be kept in a tupperware or clingfilm once open as it goes dry and a darker colour really quickly.

Tastes like plastic
Tastes really artificial, and not in a good way. Tastes like plastic tbh.

I can't see ANYTHING vaguely 'epic' about this stuff!
As a recent convert to a plant-based diet, I have to say that my biggest stumbling block is cheese. Real cheese is lovely, and I'm sorry but vegan cheese just sucks. I found this so inedible that I had one small slice then gave it to a vegan friend who doesn't mind vegan cheese. As for me, I am going to have to settle for being 95% vegan until someone invents a decent cheese alternative.

Do I really want to eat this?
I like the regular violife cheese, but wished they made a mature version because it basically tastes of nothing. Then I find out they do. It smells more like gone off milk than cheese. Is there a difference? yes, and it isn't good. It is very smelly, but suprisingly, hasn't got much taste. Certainly not like mature chedar. More like somewhere between mild cheddar and cheshire and something else, which isn't cheese, which I find a bit disconcerting. The texture is a bit more cheese-like than the milder, rubberyer version, but it's kind of slimy and wet in the pack and knowing it's not actually real cheese makes me wonder what it really is and not that keen to finish the rest of it.
