I use this book specifically for posca - wow, what a difference. I was using a standard sketchbook initially, and the pens would get stuck and scrape on it. Upon finding this book, the posca pens glide nicely and have such a lovely finish on the pages. Very very good quality.

I bought this pad as it was advertised as a Bristol board pad which I need. Now, it's super smooth paper, no tooth at all but also no ability to absorb anything. I used alcohol marker and mech pencil to do this test piece. The liner went on fine although it took time to dry, not a problem tho, the pencil stained the paper if I wasn't super light but again, not a huge problem. A weird effect was when erased, it added a strange shine to the paper but I was able to remove that with a course eraser. So, this pad is not suitable for alcohol marker, I'd left the dark parts over night before adding the light sections and I was still able to accidently move the darker colours around so I'd keep that in mind when using it. These are advertised as multi media but I would not use marker on it. I'd guess it would be best for paint or paint markers do I'm going to allocate it to Posca work. The cover has the most lovely texture and I'm saddened I can't use this as my general use pad, I may buy one of their other ones and see how that goes. This pad would be perfect for paint or paint pens but nothing else.

If you use poscas, get it. but get the smooth. the soft paper one is for alcohol pens and the blleed through so spare a page as an undersheet.

If you use Ohuhu markers for example, these are fantastic! I have been using them throughout university and it has done me wonders! Definitely one of Gecko’s better sketchbooks for sure if this is your goal!

The book is as described, I have had Art Gecko brand previously. They are good value. Unfortunately I didn’t read the description carefully, I want to use it for watercolour and it’s for paint pens.

Great heavyweight white smooth paper for acrylic markers. It does not have tear out perforations, which is a shame. But lovely surface to work on.
