Great upgrade for SE NF3. Very easy to install and makes string changes super fast.

I confess that aesthetically these look, amazing, with the silver, bronze, and black. But even better, they work fantastically. I have better tuning stability, and changing strings is always a cinch with locking tuners. This upgrade took my standard SE 24–08 to the next level. I usually use Grovers, but wanted to stick with PRS, and it was worth the money to do so.

Of course these are made by PRS so they go on easily and work flawlessly.

Nice tuners. Wish they came standard on the SE guitars or were priced a little lower.

These are good quality tuners. Easy to install. They make the string changes quick. They look good, but I honestly prefer the look of the stock PRS tuner. It would be nice if they had more options. But they function perfectly. IMO locking tuners are just to help improve maintenance time, so don’t expect it to affect your tuning stability or sound quality. But they are a good solid choice (and the only choice) if you’re wanting PRS brand tuners.

First, the one bad: As others have mentioned, the screws that come with the kit are of the WRONG diameter. It isn't a big deal, but remember to keep your old screws and reuse them. The GOOD! They go in very easily, and man do they work! I immediately found that the tuning stability was drastically improved. I installed these on a 2017 PRS SE Custom 24. I also replaced my strings with #9 (which is the stock weight on the SE) nanoweb coated strings. I was having issues with my guitar falling out of tune badly every time I moved it from home to practice. Then, while at practice, tuning would fall out after the first few songs. Note: I have ALREADY replaced the standard nut with a bone nut from Tusk. I had hoped that this would fix the tuning problems, but it did not.

These PRS lock in tuners are an upgrade and I’m satisfied with the look and build quality next time I change my strings in theory it should be a lot faster process. Extremely functional.

If you're a proud owner of a PRS SE guitar, these tuners are a perfect fit with no need for modifications. They perform exceptionally well, and the locking feature makes restringing a breeze, taking just minutes—even if you're not a seasoned DIY tech like me. A heads up for those not in the know, locking tuners won't magically improve your guitar's tuning stability unless you're replacing faulty or low-quality ones. What they do is streamline the restringing process, letting you get back to playing much faster. 10 out of 10, would buy again.

Esto es un inversión, más que un gasto... Las PRS SE hechos por CORT, nada que ver con las de indonesia... Por eso es necasio una inversión como estos afinadores con bloqueo...

Little nervous about this in case it messed up the guitar, but these are literally a drop in replacement, even the rear screw uses the same hole. Easy to do on a full string change, just adds a few extra minutes to the job, and you make up time when putting the new strings on. Do they make a difference to the sound of the guitar, well they aren't meant to but I'm sure it sounds better! The big different is that string changes are a lot faster and easier. Also suspect that as the string is more secure (locked) it doesn't slip as much so could stay in tune longer. Plus there a fewer windings so its a lot easier to get a neat string wrap on the post. So maybe it does really make it sound better! Would I buy again ? Yes!

Eu não conhecia esse sistema de travamento da PRS e achei muito bom! Só se faz necessário tomar cuidado porque os parafusos de travamento são pequenos e fáceis de se perder, mas é um detalhe. No geral, segura bem a afinação e dá um destaque legal no headstock. Recomendo! Obs. Tem vídeo no canal da PRS no YouTube explicando como fazer a instalação corretamente.
