This is a similar review I gave on the Q size.If you are just getting started in crocheting then please know that needle size IS IMPORTANT.If you crochet any and all sizes of yarn then you know you will need really large needles at times. These are great. I did not find a "seam" on the sides to catch the yarn on. I was however,worried about the "seam" at the top, just before the hook. I'm not exactly sure why this needs to be here. I was worried about a "plastic / Acrylic" needle as I love the metal ones.I live 30+ minutes from the nearest "craft" store and they don't always carry items I want. I was pleased to find these here.I purchased the "Susan Bates Red Heart" needles L, M, N, P set and the Lion Brand Q and S. both are good.I lost everything, Everything, a few years ago and I'm slowly replacing or rather purchasing the items that I really will use, not just stuff. Glad I found these here.

I bought this crochet hook to bring to my class. For those students who need instant gratification, this is an excellent tool for making a crochet scarf. Instead of taking days and weeks to see a result, this process takes a few hours and then they can proudly show their accomplishment. The pros of this large crochet hook is that you can make something quickly. The cons is that the item is bulky to wear and not particularly warm because each stitch is large as is the opening it creates and the wind can rush through it keeping you cold. For summer wraps these large stitches with large opening could keep you cool, a matter of taste.

It works! Needed a size S and it delivered. It’s pretty flimsy, but can’t imagine it breaking. Used it for two scarves that worked up quickly. Had no issues with yarn not gliding. Was comfortable enough for the short projects I did. Satisfied with purchase.

I am an avid crocheter and I am always looking to expand my hook collection. I wanted a wider hook to work on a broom stitch project, and I decided to buy this hook. After using it for that project, I found a very nice thick alpaca wool yarn that required a 19 mm hook and I used to for a scarf. It worked perfectly with the yarn. The plastic material of the hook helps you advance in your projects faster, since it is not that heavy (considering the thickness of the hook), and it actually feels very comfortable in your hand.

I’ve tried so many hooks and this is the only one I will use. People laugh at me because it’s like the end of the world if I have to crochet without it. The pointed-ness of the hook makes it so easy to weave in and out of projects without loosening the stitch, like other crochet hooks with rounder tips do. LOVE THIS HOOK!!!

I was kind of disappointed with this hook. Not counting against it that its hard to crochet with a huge hook, this hook was pretty useless. The hook portion isn't large enough to actually catch a super bulky yarn and its made of very cheap feeling plastic. Also the hook handle is rather short and difficult to hold on to. After attempting to get it to work for my project (crocheting a large poof using #6 bulky weight yarn) several times, I opted for hand crochet and found my own two fingers to be much more useful and efficient.

Product arrived without the croquet hook! Just the packaging! Ridiculous, now have to go through the effort of sending it back.

A nice hook but for me it was a pain the backside. The hook head was too long which meant I had to perform sweeping movements in order to complete a stitch without the hook getting caught in the yarn.An acquaintance found the hook a 'smooth ride'. I gave it to her and she loved it.I recommend giving it a try...it won't kill you.

I bought this for my Mam, she wanted to make a crochet rag rug and needle a big hook. I ordered this one for her and she said it was really easy to use and she made a large circle crochet rug and it looks fab.

WOW! Brilliant (large crochet hook) for making big crochet projects. This is good quality hook and I would recommend this to all crochet people in the world, to have at least one of these in their collection of crochet hooks.
