A Couple of Tall Cool Ones
I already owned 3 different brands of thermal mugs and wanted 2 of the brand I liked the most. The Contigo was the hands down winner. I was happy with the Contigo I owned for its ease of use, easy to sip from and keeping the liquid cold (or hot). They fit perfectly into my separate golf cooler. I also use them at home all the time.

5-6 hrs later still as hot as fresh brewed
Love this cupI fill it up and then I drive an hour to work, I don't drink it while I'm in my jeep bx I'm weird like that. Then once I get to work, truck driver, I take about 30 minutes hooking up my trailers and doing pre trip stuff, then head out.So roughly 1.5-2 hrs after I've filled it, I begin to enjoy my coffee. It's still just as hot as when it comes out the brewer. I like my coffee hot, so when I say hot, it's hot.It then stays warm the entire 3 hr trip into Little Rock. So 5 hrs of warmth and I'm saying it'll keep it hot longer than that.Never had any issues with this brand and I have several of their cups, all still holding up.

The lid stays on
Contigo is the best! I've dropped these mugs from counter-height onto a cement floor and the lid stays on and closed. My mugs have a few dinks and dents, but I've never lost a drop of coffee. Stays very hot for an hour or two, kinda hot for another hour or two, and 'hey, it's still warm!' about six-eight hours. I've bought solely Contigo for years, and though they aren't the mug that'll keep your coffee hot for a week, they're much more affordable AND the lid stays on!

Good quality, 12 hours cold water
I got the midnight berry color. I have used this brand and model of cup for years. This is my third one in like 7 years. My second 24oz. The newer ones have grip issues. I bought my bf one 2 years ago and the grip is loose. We had to get him another because he dropped the seal and it was never to be found again so it leaked, and that grip was also loose. This one that I ordered, again the grip is loose. It twists and actually will slide up with minimal effort when bottle is dry, and even more so when its wet. My old ones didnt do this, but the newer model does. I have included a photo showing that it slides. I have carpal tunnel so its not like I strong armed it. Aside from that, its not nearly as sparkly as the image suggests. Which i was sad about but im more about the function. I LOVE it because it stays cold forever. I fill it halfway with ice, and still have a small chunk of ice left after 10 hours if im drinking out of it, and if I leave it closed and untouched overnight( I take it to bed with me so I have cold water at night) it has most of its ice by morning. I typically sleep 9-10 hours for reference. The lid is pretty easy to over screw and gets really tight. My old one started leaking after like 4 or 5 years. Thats why I got the new one. Its pretty durable. I dropped this baby on concrete from 12ft high. It got rather dented on the bottom and I just took a hammer to it to flatten it back out. My lid dented near the mouth piece. But I probably dropped it on concrete at work over 60 times. It scratched, it dented but still worked just fine for years. I have rather small hands but it seems yo be fine to hold, even if I do have carpal tunnel. I dont use it for anything hot so I cant vouch on that topic. I hand wash the lid daily and the cup itself weekly. The little rubber seal in the lid can be a bit of a pain to pull out, but you can GENTLY get it out with a toothpick and some patience. Its very important to throughly wash and dry that little rubber seal. You can get sick if you dont. OK, review over.

Nope, it’s not gonna leak. At all.
It fits in my 2022 Tacoma cup holder. That’s important. I’m not a big fan of the beverage release mechanism which is a pull up/push down tab on the opposite side from the beverage hole. It’s stiff and makes a little pop noise when you open or close, but it won’t leak at all. Quality construction.

The Best Travel Mug I've Ever Owned!
I've gone through so many travel mugs that claim to be "leak-proof" only to have them drip all over my bag. This Contigo Byron mug is the real deal. The SNAPSEAL lid is completely secure—I can throw it in my work bag with confidence. It's also amazing at keeping my coffee hot. I'll make a coffee at 7 AM, and it's still perfectly warm at noon. The 20oz size is generous, the Blue Corn color looks great, and it fits perfectly in my car's cup holder. I can't recommend this enough.

Comfortable to hold, perfectly seals so no leaks
I love this cup! Very comfortable to hold (slender and rubber around the middle), and seals perfectly!I needed a cup I could close and throw in a bag without it leaking at all. It does that. Yes, to close it and open it, you have to push and pull a bit hard but it's worth it because it works so well!
