G.I. Joe Classified Series Duke Action Figure Collectible 04 Premium Toy with Multiple Accessories 6-Inch Scale with Custom Package Art (Deco May Vary)

I am having a hard time picking my favorite between, Duke, Snake Eyes and Destro... but Duke is really well made. The fade on his hair's sculpt and paint job is well done all things considered. I wouldn't mind seeing a more retro classic design version (I'm sure most GI Joe fans would agree), but the modern take is decent. The face is really well done, the sculpt is great, he can pass for the next Captain America. My Duke's face scar is a little mangled due to the poor QA of the line (this is a general complaint about the line), but personally I like the unique figure as long as it's not too, too bad. The scar on my Duke's head looks more like a '7' than a '/' but even with the poor quality assurance, the underlying toy itself is well made. If I received one with the perfect paint job, I'm sure it would look exactly like the polished promo pictures. I rated it 5 stars because it's a great figure and the price is right. You get the right amount of bang for your buck.The only improvements I'd suggest, but these aren't specifically for Duke:1. Increase QA across the entire line, paint jobs shouldn't be botchy, and joints should be the correct amount of firmness.2. It's strange that some of the figures have single color weapons and accessories, and then have accessories with multiple colors. Just commit to one schema, either single color accessories across the line or put some effort and paint the weapons, and accessories.3. Please allow ample weapon storage on the back packs or add shoulder slings or straps to the armaments.4. Provide a GI Joe stand (duh)5. G.I. Joes are meant to have accessories, these aren't Marvel Legends, more accessories please.6. Alternate heads and hands (angry face, neutral face, hands for salute, closed fist, etc).

I was blown away by the craftsmanship of the Deluxe Snake Eyes I received in April. But had lots of trepidation after toyfair when I saw the rest of the figures as they seemed a little too scifi for me but my fears have been squashed. This figure has the right mixture of military meets plausible science fiction with a touch of nostalgia. This is undeniably Duke. He has an M4 carbine laser rifle that I thought would look ridiculous but actually looks awesome as well as a sidearm, binoculars, a removable belt, and a backback. Maybe this figured could have used a cool helmet but other than that pretty sweet. It has an insane amount of articulation. Fantastic paint job. I am very excited for this line going forward. Only knock on the figure the the neck looks at tad long, I suspect because they originally intended to give him a helmet.

Hasbro really knocked it out of the ballpark with these new Classified Series! I was hesitant to purchase because I like the classic ARAH line from the 1980's. After opening and playing with these figures, I really like them! My kids also like these, saying that they are flexible and fun to pose and play with. I highly recommend if you are on the fence about purchasing, don't hesitate to pull the trigger! Great figures, great price! Yo Joe!!!

Upon seeing pictures of Duke from the Initial promotion photos, I was skeptical. Duke looked to young, however, what I did like was the design mix of sci-Fi/old school military. The violence of the classic 80s cartoon was toned due to parental groups restraining what could be shown on screen: no actual guns firing and no death. So they had lasers instead. It seems that Hasbro was keenly aware of this when designing this new Duke. For me, as a life-long GI Joe collector, I debated with myself over which is better, laser guns or old school military hardware. Still debating. Personally, I like the look of his weapons and it corresponds with the aesthetic perception of GI Joe over the decades.When I received the figure and took him out of the box, I was almost instantly a fan: solid construction, lots of cool looking gear attached, and the aforementioned weapons. When I examined the face sculpt up close, Duke looked to be about the right age for a battle hardened, experienced military leader. Lastly, I will say if you are a GI Joe collector, this guy should be on the top of your list. I will continue to collect the Classified series and I think the series will, hopefully, revitalize the GI Joe toyline.

I really like these new Classified figures.The details are very nice, and they seem to be well made.I also like that the accessories they come with are very nice looking.As a fan of the 3.75” figures of the 80s, I’m glad to have more GI Joe to collect.

The box arrived with some damage, but the figure was intact. I love this action figure. Highly detailed and very articulated. The accessories are highly detailed as well. As a fan growing up in the 80’s watching the original cartoons, this figure captures the essence of Duke with a more contemporary look! Yo Joe!

Love the Hasbro, G.I. Joe Franchaize, always did as a child and still do. Value for the money was ok, HOWEVER!, Amazon, using USPS has been giving me headaches of merchandise ( (boxes), being SHOVED into my mailbox with mail and almost destroying other merchandise. If these things are (collectibles)valuable weather toys, or glass, or anything of high value, they shouldn't be SHOVED in a small mailbox or In this case fashioned and reshaped to try to fit it in a GD Mailbox.... it should be delivered protected from stupidity damage , and the idiots that inflict it on our merchandise during delivery... Their is such thing as a doorbell as well.

DO NOT BUY THIS FROM AMAZON if you are buying it to keep MOC and as a display piece. They ship in a extra large padded envelope and your figure packaging will be banged up. The figure looks fantastic and has great poseability. Only negatives are the sci fi weapons and the shinguards. Overall very pleased with the GI JOE 6inch line
