Craftsman 309-Piece Mechanics Tool Set, # 41309

I purchased these as a Christmas gift for my son. He loved them and I was honestly a bit jealous. This set comes with polished wrenches that are ratcheting on the box ends. I find myself now asking him to use his wrenches when we're working on things. A great starter set and comes with all the key pieces to start building from. Add in the ability to take any tool to any Sears store for any reason and get it repaired or replaced and it is tough to beat.

Great set of tools for a start out mechanic and the warranty and cost is better then most on the market where the costs are clearly to high and unreasonable!!

Good tools came with standard set and metric set, ratcheting wrenches work great I only really use the standard set for work (aircraft mechanic) but it's always good to have metric at home

I purchased this as a gift - At Thanks Giving I spoke to the person whom I had got it for. They said the quality of the tools are as to be expected from Craftsman the issue he has with it is that the counts and sizes of the items included was all messed up. He has 2 and 3 of one size of socket as an example and missing other sizes.Wish i would have known this right away as I would have returned it!

Made in China, but I knew that in advance. I think they are a good value just the same. It did come missing on deep socket (13/16 3/8 drive), but I just bought one at the store rather than test customer service..

The ratcheting wrenches fall apart .....

One of the ratchets did not work smoothly, so I walk into my local Sears store and they replaced in in seconds!

Perfect set for beginners. With a little bit of creativity you can do almost anything, tools are very reliable and ergonomically comfortable
