I'm very happy with these. I replaced an old halogen unit with these and am very pleased. The lights don't get hot at all and its easy to turn them on/off as well as position them both up / down and left / right. I read the reviews on this before buying it and I was hoping that they would have fixed any issues with the stand by now. It looks very sturdy in the pictures but the previous reviews were right, it needs some work. The stand will slip down pretty easily and you have to crank on the knobs a bit to get it to stay at the height you are trying to set it for. That would not deter me from buying it again though, the light get nice and tall, you crank on the knobs a bit and it will stay up there, and the lights are very bright. Sometimes I'll position them to look off to the side of what I'm looking at instead of directly at it since they are so bright. Would 100% purchase again, highly recommended.

I have these lights for about a year now. They are a little pricey as far as work lights go, but I love them. They are very bright, but not so bright to wash out the work. They don't get scalding hot, but do warm up. I've had them on for several hours at a time, and at the hottest, they are just warm. I also like that I can take one or both lights off of the stand and put them in different spots. I would definitely get them again. I know some comments said the stand was plastic and weak. I have not had a problem with it. But it was not built to be thrown around or have heavy items stacked on them. Take care of your tools and they will last a long time. Great lights. So far none of the LED lights have gone out.

Excellent value. The lights are super bright and fill up the whole room; just one light on was enough to light up my whole basement. The top carriage assembly mount is quick release so it's easy to mount or take off. The stand is heavy and feels strong and it has two extension controls knobs. One of the legs even has an extension control knob (maybe for uneven floor?).I had bought a halogen work light set from HD for like $80 and both lights burned out within a couple days (there was lots of cursing). I took it back and ordered this LED light set online, because HD does not stock them in the store. I checked both HD online store and Amazon and went with Amazon 1) I was already mad at HD and 2) I have Prime and get the two day shipping free. 3) they were the same price on both sites.It just arrived yesterday, so it's barely been used at all, but I'm happy so far. $213 is a lot of money for a light set, but it looks and feels quite solid and the lights are VERY bright. I expect it too last.

Ok, this IS an incredibly bright light and it has a nice cord but would it kill a company to make a STURDY tripod that doesn't have pre-bent parts and stripped screws right out of the box? The tripod is ok up to the top where the lights attach but the purchase between the light bar and the tripod consists of two tiny Phillips screws that were literally pre-stripped as they try to thread into very thin aluminum tubing. Elsewhere the fittings have nuts tack welded to thread into for sturdy purchase. Parts were bent coming out of the box. This costs $200, not $29.95 and it is the usual Chinese factory crap parts. Be prepared to fix it yourself. The lights are great, could play tennis by them, just need something better underneath.

Great work light. I owned a halogen model a while back and my daughter borrowed it and it broke. I have borrowed an LED model and liked it, so I shopped for one for myself. After pretty extensive shopping and comparing I settled on this one. I am very happy with my choice. It is very bright and the design is very well thought through. It is also quite well made. The way the light head clamps to the stand is cleaver, allowing for quick release and return to the base without the need to turn thumb screws. The only improvement I would suggest would be a better clamp for the height adjustment. It works fine, so I'm not going to deduct a star for this, but it takes more force than I would like to secure the height. For what it cost I am completely pleased with this light. I have now used it many times.

I got these over 2 years ago and they are still working fine. Not hot like normal incandescant or halogen lights and use a lot less electricity. Very bright and easy to adjust and manipulate. They are well built and have lasted great. Paint has never chipped and never rusted.

The light unit itself seems to be really good quality, but I cannot say the same about the light stand. The light just gets moved here and there around garage, and one day as I went to move the light after lowering the stand, the stand came right apart from the knob. Tried fixing it, but no luck. I really don't think anyone should be paying $180 for an item whose quality can be described as only okay at best. I contacted customer service via email, and after sending them my invoice over a week ago, I still have not received a response back. I would certainly advise to stay away from this brand, as even the customer is unreliable. Can't possible recommend a product who's company does not even bother to stand by their warranty.

In one word: Disappointed. The light is bright as specified but the stand is wimpy. I use this for home improvement, so it doesn't need to be as durable as would be expected by a tradesman who uses it daily, but the stand structure is wimpy. I'll have to babby it so it doesn't fall apart. They could have put better adjusting nuts for the height adjustment. The protective pads on the feet poles are thin plastic coverings that will surely wear thru quickly and will end up scratching floor surfaces. Other lights I've seen have thick wear pads for durability. Definitely not for daily or regular use. +$180 ??? Low quality, not worth the price! I'm being nice giving it 3 stars.
