Honestly, when I open my package and I see square brown board, I didn’t know what I was opening. It’s no manual. I also didn’t know that the brown paper has been filled off and honestly is difficult to build off as well pulling off of each board and it was very difficult overall, I get the pilling of four star and the quality of the board of five star

Perfect for my product photography. The only downside that made me give this 4 stars is how difficult it is to remove the protective film. Of course I’m glad it’s there, but it took me about 20 minutes to fully get it off. Once it’s removed it serves its purpose.

Looks great. I largely shoot Cosmetics products for a blog and so the reflection looks nice, it’s easy to clean, it’s photographs clean so it’s easy to retouch minor issues here and there. They’re perfect for my needs. I could see where the glossy surface might scuff easily but just be careful and they’ll be fine. The paper backing was a bit of a challenge to get off but that was also not a huge deal. I wish these came in a larger size.

Great value, exactly what I was looking for. It's very reflective and came without any scratches thanks to the brown covering. Don't worry about the brown covering. It is not that hard to get off. It took me 10 minutes tops to get it off both panels with just my fingernails and no heat. It doesn't leave a residue like some sticker. It comes off clean, and it comes off if big chunks.

White surface is great for photography. Slight reflection and easy to clean when it's dirty. Removing the brown paper is terrible. There is really no reason the protective paper is stuck as firmly as it is, has no edges or tabs to start removing, and tears into little piece when you do get it going.

They come with both sides covered in an annoyingly difficult to remove sticker coating. A couple reviewers suggest using a hair dryer, but heck if I'm going to sit there for half an hour with a hair dryer and a razor scraper when these shouldn't even have that to start with. Couldn't be bothered to deal with these, they went in the trash and I got something different.

While the term riser is used to describe these, they are simply thin flat sheets. One of the product photos shows what appears to be a foot or something elevating it like a riser, but those are actually not part of the product we received. As noted by others, the protective paper coating was annoyingly difficult to remove. After eventually removing the paper and making my own DIY “riser” to elevate the platform against a backdrop, they worked fine
