Excellent healthy alternative to the unhealthy sugary substitute.
For people wanting to cut back on carbs/sugar, while eating clean, this product fills that desire for craving something familiar. It tasted enough like Cinnamon Toast Crunch that you can tell that is what it was designed towards, however, it is obviously not as sweet a sugary. I tried this with both unsweetened coconut milk and unsweetened almond milk, but did not like the taste. However, with vitamin D it tastes amazing. Surprisingly, I think it tastes best as a dry snack. I keep a bag in my car so that if I’m running late for work in the mornings, I can eat a couple handfuls and it hits the spot. I would recommend this, just don’t expect it to taste exactly like its super high sugar counterpart.

Nutrition Done Right, Pricing Done Wrong
This is one of the better cereal options out there if you actually care about nutrition. The Cinnamon Toast flavor tastes genuinely good, it’s very filling, and it keeps my energy levels steady throughout the day instead of spiking and crashing like regular cereal. The protein and fiber content make it feel more like a functional meal than empty carbs, which is something most cereals completely fail at. That said, the cost to quantity ratio is hard to ignore, and honestly not okay. The amount you get for the price is extremely small. To realistically feed more than one person, or even make it a consistent household option, you’d need around four boxes at $6.99+ each. That’s a steep price for something being marketed as an everyday cereal. Regular cereal has almost no real nutritional value, so Catalina Crunch deserves credit for doing better, but trying to glorify protein and fiber while charging premium prices for such a low amount misses the mark. It’s a solid product with good ingredients and taste, but the pricing seriously limits how practical it is for most people. Bottom line, nutritionally solid and satisfying, but far too expensive for the quantity provided!

better than it used to be!
I used to dislike Catalina Crunch because it had a weird aftertaste and left a film in my mouth. Everyone experiences food differently, but since the formula change, I don't experience either of those issues anymore. It is solid and has a good crunch to it, but there is a bit of give before you get there, so it isn't like most corn based cereals. Speaking of cereal, I have found these are impervious to milk or milk substitutes, so I eat them as a dry snack instead. It is quite expensive for what it is, but it is overall a satisfying sweet snack that doesn't have too many net carbs.

This cereal is delicious.
This cereal is delicious! It is high fiber, made with clean ingredients and its healthy as well as gluten free. It fits all my health needs. It tastes great. I wish they came in bigger bags but they're so good. It smells amazing too. I love the cinnamon. Its just like cinnamon toast cereal but way way better.

Tastes as expected, harder than expected
Smells like cinnamon toast crunch. Tastes like it at first. The taste fades fast and leaves a bland taste. The part that sucks for me as I was pregnant and my mouth was very soft is...they cut your gums! Like captain crunch would. Not a big deal if you dont have soft gums from being pregnant. Was filling and worth the money for a craving. Milk after tastes AMAZING.

decent, but not for everyone
The nutrition is definitely the best part with high protein, lots of fiber, and no sugar is hard to beat. That said, the cinnamon flavor is a bit muted and the texture is harder than I expected. It works fine mixed with yogurt or milk, but on its own it’s just okay. A good option if health is the priority, but taste-wise it’s not my favorite.

Taste great for a high protein, healthy cereal.
A lot better than the cardboard alternatives that most cereals are. And it taste pretty good too. The protein content is impressive

It's tolerable, but not great.
In college, my suite mates called me "the cereal connoisseur." That was 30 years ago, so I know what a good bowl of cereal tastes like. This review is coming from a guy who still likes his sugar cereal and has Cap'n Crunch before bed a few nights per week. I wouldn't quite call this cereal good, but it's not nasty either. It tastes like Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Golden Grahams had a baby, but the baby only had about 1/4 of the sugar. The only reason I'm eating this cereal is because I'm trying to do the Keto thing. Every time I have a bowl of Cap'n Crunch, I gain a pound, so I'm trying to make this a replacement for when I have a craving for something sweet at night. This almost scratches the itch, but it's just not sweet enough for me. I want to put a little more sugar in the bowl, but then that would defeat the purpose. This is tolerable, and I feel good knowing I'm not spiking my blood sugar levels so I guess I'm stuck with this. Another thing I like about sugary cereal, is the sweet milk you get afterwards, but the milk is barely a little sweeter after eating this cereal. Bummer.
