This book collection is very fun and enjoyable for my early reader. The Elephant & Piggie series is entertaining, wholesome, and allows the child to practice adding inflections into their reading which is different from most early reader books.I do find the binding of the book is very tight and it can make the pages difficult to turn at the beginning with how many pages there are in the series, but buying it as a collection is much more budget friendly.

These are my children’s favorite characters. Easy for learning to read and my older kids can read to the little ones easily. Funny, cute. We like to take turns reading the different characters too.

This is a great buy! My daughter loves this book we read a story every night.

Grandson loves this series

We have always loved anything Mo Willems wants to write, but the Piggy and Gerald books are extra special. Knowing how much my son enjoyed having them read to him -very loud and dramatically!- I thought reading through these would encourage him to venture more into self-directed reading. And it did!He would excitedly open the book when it arrived and begin attempting to read the stories on his own and often out loud to his younger sister. I made a deal with him that I would order the next Volume in the series once he read through each story with me listening. This latest one, he was so confident he sat down and read the whole thing to me in one sitting, loving and laughing through every minute of it.

It was a Christmas gift and the child loved the book

My 4.5 year old son loves these books. He finds them very funny, including the story and the illustrations. He always adds his own twist to the story. Short enough to keep his attention too.
