Great product for the price.
Worked well after installing some new irons on my CZ 75D Compact PCR. After some adjustments and a quick range trip to test it out I’d say it did a pretty fantastic job for the price. Now with that being said there are some sacrifices for the price, 1. You can not leave the batteries installed and have the laser off you will need to remove the batteries to store. 2. I would have liked to see it come with any way to store it even a cheap little bag would work. 3. After much testing you unfortunately will have to place the device in the chamber and drop the slide with full force in order for it to seat properly, this can cause unwanted stress and or damage to your extractor depending on the age and brand of your arms. All in all I highly recommend this product for the price and many of these downsides can be avoided by spending a little more money on a more premium product offered by Tacticon. This is the ideal product for the average consumer whom may be installing sights every once and a while. 25 year old male from the United States (if that matters to you)

Great boresighting laser
I've used boresight lasers in the past that seemed cheap and would rarely work right. This is the complete opposite. The body of the laser is high quality and it includes 6 batteries (only 2 are required to use the laser). The body of the laser is a perfect fit in a 9mm chamber, ensuring that the projected last is spot on. The one small grip I have about this is that it is slightly longer than your standard 9mm round and will sometimes hang up in the action as you rack the slide to remove the laser. Not a huge deal, but something to note. Other than that, this was a quick and easy way to align new sights on a pistol after I swapped out the factory sights, and I could do it right in my own living room, without a trip to the range or firing a single round.

REVISED: SEE INFO BELOW FROM TACTICON FOR USE!! Accurate, but difficult to remove
I wrote to Tacticon and they sent me the following: __________________________________________________________________ Hopefully this information will help: ___________________________________________ The 9mm boresight requires two of the provided batteries (beveled side down). Insert batteries and screw on battery cap, laser should come on. Empty your magazine well. It is recommended that you do not even have an empty magazine in your gun. Pull back your slide all the way and lock it into place. Place your boresight into the bore and allow your slide to naturally close onto the boresight; it will slam the boresight into place. Sight in your optic as much as the boresight will allow then remove boresight and use live ammunition to zero in your optic the rest of the way. FOR BORESIGHT REMOVAL: Pull back your slide as much as it will allow and grip the top of the slide with your four fingers with your thumb on the back of the grip ( you will need to hold the slide back with one hand). Once you can see that the boresight is exposed, simply use your free hand to push the boresight downward to pop it out of your empty magazine well. _______________________________________ This is different from what is in the package or on the page, but it does work just fine with those directions. I'll take 1 star off for poor directions, but good for the price, and with the info, it fits well with the product design. I received the 9mm size. I wanted one to check one of my pistols which seemed to be shooting more to the left than all of my others. I didn't know if it was excessive trigger pull (left handed) or not. The bore sight fit well; I locked back the slide and placed it in the barrel. I released the slide, and it closed fully. SIghts seem to be true, so I need to work on my trigger pull. However, when it came time to eject the boresight, I could not fully retract the slide, nor could I lock it back. The boresight seemed to prevent this, and was moving back with the slide. I finally had my son push it out with a screwdriver while I manually held the slide back as far as it would go. I'll have to get ahold of the mfr and see if I did something wrong, or whether a bit of filing of the case of the boresight might help. S&W M&P compact, for those who want to know, not the Shield.

Does Not Seat Properly in Breach
I tried this unit in two 9mm pistols I own, a Sig P365XL and a Springfield Hellcat. It would not properly go far enough in to allow the breach to full close thus the barrel was still cocked upward. I tried letting the slide slam into it (with great trepidation I might add) and short of hammering it in it did not fit properly. I didn't apply maximum force for fear of damaging my expensive guns. I have the Laser Ammo laser bullet and bore sighter and it properly seats in the breach as does the Pink Rhino laser bullet. Using a micrometer, the Tacticon measures 9.91MM at its thickest point whereas the Laser Ammo measure 9.85MM. The case is not machined to the proper tolerance. Additionally. the description says there are adjustment screws for windage and elevation to center the beam but they are absent from the unit. Finally, I did contact customer service and they did respond (though it took a few days overall going back and forth) and after I sent photos and explained they offered to send a replacement unit but could not guarantee that it would work in my guns or I could return it to Amazon which is what I elected to do. Had they immediately sent me a replacement to try I would have worked with them to help them resolve the issue but they acted like it was a $110 item instead of an $11 item. My time and effort should have been worth more than that. Their CS is pleasant but this is the kind of issue that says no care is taken to ensure that any quality control is being exercised. Maybe you will have a better experience or a gun with looser tolerances. Both the Sig and the Springfield are top quality guns made to more exacting tolerances. I have put over 1,000 rounds through the Sig and about 400 through the Hellcat and both have operated flawlessly.
