Great for appliqué

I hesitated to spend $30 on a small-ish pair of scissors but these are fantastic! The grip is roomy and comfortable, they are sharp and cut cleanly and effortlessly. I couldn't find small scissors with relatively large finger holes in the Fiskars brand so I took a chance with these. The blades close with satisfying precision that makes for enjoyable cutting. I use them mostly for thread clipping and trimming off fabric bits but they worked perfectly for cutting off the quilted corners of a pillow with batting inside. Thick layers were no problem. I really love these!

These are fabulous scissors especially for collage quilting. The slightly serrated edge helps the blades grip the fabric firmly so they don’t slip & you get a very accurate cut. They are extremely sharp & fit my fingers well. It’s nice also to have a plastic cover that fits tightly over the blades so as not to poke or accidentally cut something. They re also great for regular appliqué & other quilting projects. I highly recommend these scissors!
