Great knee scooter/walker
Great knee walker. Easy to assemble. Way to use. Sturdy. I thought the basket was silly.... but that's the best part! The only bad part is you have to watch the turn radius so you don't tip over. But I think that's too be expected with something like this. Padding on knee seat is pretty firm. My knee was sore but I got used to it. Bigger wheels go super easy on rugs and carpet. I used this only in the house, but I'm sure it handles good outside also. This has two emergency brakes that you can set. But you have to squeeze the handle grips really hard to set. This is a quality knee scooter.

Superior knee scooter
The first image is a rental knee scooter; the second is this product. My 6'6" husband needed the stability and smooth ride this product offers. Assembly is simple, but you have to pay attention to where the brake lines are and with lining up all the parts. An air compressor is helpful for inflating the tires as they are purposely underinflated for shipping. The pneumatic tires were so helpful in getting over small barriers, such as sidewalk cracks, the little bumps on concrete ramps, parking lot divots, indoor flooring transitions, getting on/off elevators, pebbles on the concrete, and more; the rental model's hard wheels stopped at every minor obstacle - - which is a real fall risk! He found it too unstable on our landscaping rock to use it in the yard, but solid surfaces were perfect with this little baby. While the height is the same as the rental (with small, hard wheels), the wheel base is somewhat larger and more stable, esp. for a taller person. That said, the wider wheel base made it a little more challenging to get it in the car. The handle bar folds down to make it a bit easier to get into a vehicle, though the catch can be a little tricky at first. He found the knee rest was a little shorter than the rental, but was well padded for comfort. Hand brakes are very effective. Turning radius is a bit wide, but manageable. He found the hard metal basket prohibited him from pulling up close to his desk, so he opted for a tote bag instead. The cost is very reasonable: The rental was $80/mon., this model about $240 (with tax). He was on it for almost 3 mos. and we get to keep it for future use. He had a couple mechanical issues with the first scooter he bought. The company was very responsive and helpful in attempting to mitigate the issues. They ended up replacing the entire scooter, even before we sent back the first one since he had to have it to get around. Great product, great company!

Top of the line
My 6’2”, 330 lb son has been using this for 2 months and loves it. It’s a very sturdy scooter that performs well indoor and outdoor. So far there hasn’t been any terrain where he hasn’t been able to use the scooter. We have to add air to the tires periodically, but otherwise it has held up very well. It folds easily and while a little heavy, I’m still able to get it in and out of the car myself. Even his orthopedic doctor commented on the scooter, asking where we got it and saying it was one of the nicest he’s seen. Make sure you also get a cushion for the knee pad as it is a bit hard and can be uncomfortable without one.

Not perfect, but about the best knee scooter you'll find.
A few things. The scooter arrived and assembly went fairly quickly and easily. The tires arrived flat, which normally wouldn't be a big deal, but because the valve stem is so close to the hub, you will need a special, short neck, 90 degree exit valve connector to inflate the wheels. I'm a cyclist and my bike pump didn't work, I tried a ball pump with a flex cable, I took it to the gas station, but that valve connector was an inline hose and I couldn't get it to couple up. You need a 90 degree short neck air pump that an air compressor might have. So, finally got it up and running with the help of a neighbor. The large inflatable wheels are nice. Around the house on the wood floors they squeak a bit. You have to be VERY careful to not try to make tight turns or you will dump the bike on its side. Not that I've done that. 3 times. :-) Get comfortable with an 8-point turn, and that's okay! The hand brakes with a brake lock have been a lifesaver. Whenever I park it for a moment (bathroom, bedside, etc), I lock the handbrakes with the push of a button so when I need to get on it from a seated position, it doesn't roll away from me. The basket is also a lifesaver! I keep a bottle of water, my phone and chapstick in it at all times. The handle folds down nicely and goes in the back of my car. The only thing - be very careful when you loosen the toggle to fold down the handle. Loosen that screw too far and the whole thing will fall on the floor and you'll have to re-assemble. Just loosen slightly to pull up the lever, then fold down the bars. All in all I think it's the best of all the scooters, but you still have to be very diligent to keep it upright, go slow and be smart.

Game changer
This knee walker has greatly improved my mobility since rupturing my Achilles Tendon. I am now able to scoot to my garden and do some work. The basket is great for putting my laptop or getting my lunch to the table. It took me a minute to figure out how the steering column folds. It is solidly built and mostly stable. The sharp turning radius can make it feel like it is going to topple over when turning extremely sharp. you do need to be careful when turning sharply. The brake locking feature is excellent although it does take some pressure to apply the brakes enough to lock them. I expect this will get better with more use. It looks sharp with the brushed metal finish. I inflated the four tires to 30 pounds as there was very little air in the tires when first received. Pad is comfortable so far. The brake cables are fairly long and can catch if too close to cabinet handles, etc. Overall great product and a definite improvement to my quality of life.

Tire blew up!
Caution. The back tire blew up. We followed the PSI instructions. Thankfully the scooter was sitting in the room while we were eating dinner when it blew up. My husband was not using it! Was super loud explosion, scared everyone in the house!
