Gentle cleanser for sensitive skin
Really comfy for every day use. I have combination skin and am blemish prone. This leaves my skin clean without drying me out. Has had a notable impact on blemishes and I'll happily keep ordering this.

Effective but harsh lemon scent
The ingredients are as effective as any other salicylic acid, but the lemon scent is super sharp and a little chemical smelling

Only product I’ve come across that actually clears dud bumps
So for around two years I’ve been using this in tandem with thayers peppermint bar soap as my only two daily skin care products. I’ve had constant irritating red bumps on my upper arms/thighs for over 20 years. Well after about 3-4 months of using this I noticed they were disappearing. Now almost two years later I am happy to say I have no more irritating red bumps. I can even shave my entire body as long as I apply this(along with the Thayers lemon pads w/salicylic acid after the shower). Focus specifically on my armpits/private area after shaving & then again for 2-3 more days. This is incredible as I have terribly sensitive skin & can be prone to getting in-grow hairs. I absolutely love these thayers products & wouldn’t know what to do without. I would truly be devastated if they are ever discontinued. Thank you Thayers for your wonderful line of witch hazel products.

Thayers witch haze blemish cleanser.
This Thayers Witch Hazel face was just ok for me. I have rosacea but otherwise clear skin. I get the occasional small pimple, but not often. My son also used this, and he has oily akin with some blackheads on his nose and chin and a few pimples on his cheek. This did not irritate his skin when using. He found the face was a little pungent, but said he liked how easily it washed off and it did not irritate his skin. I also found the face wash to be pungent and did not care for how runny it was. It tingled my rosacea bit didn’t irritate it as much as many other face washes have in the past. Tea tree oil tends to have anti inflammatory properties, and witch hazel is anti bacterial properties which seems like a good combo with the salicylic acid to help keep acne at bay. I did find it also to be a little drying, so followed up with a good moisturizer. My son liked it better than I did. Personally, I wouldn’t choose this over my usual face wash, but would use again: if you have sensitive skin, perhaps test this every other day and in small amounts to make sure it doesn’t irritate your skin.

Loyal Thayers product user
I totally missed that it had salicylic acid in it (how could I??). I have very dry skin so I have to be careful on overusing that ingredient. All the other ingredients are wonderful so I'm hoping Thayers will make one without the salicylic acid. Other than that...as always I love their products. For the past several years I have been using the bar soap for my face that has witch hazel and aloe (orange scented) and I love it but it it's messy so I was looking forward to having a tube that wouldn't leave a residue on my counters or tub. I use to have terrible adult acne prior to starting my Thayers regimen and I recommend their products to anyone that suffers like I use to.

Amazing! Love! Love!
When Fall started my face decided to turn into a pizza. My normal face wash (clinique) wasn't working and I really like the toner with this brand; so I decided to give this stuff a go and boy am I happy I did. I have only used it for a few days and my face is clearing up. The scent isn't strong and it has a really nice consistency. I have to also say I bought the exfoliating pads and I use those maybe 2 to 3 times a week, along with their toner (using the original right now) every day.
