I purchased this seaweed combo to make miso soup. I like the quality, the flavor and the ease that I find in having everything at once for me to make the most nutritious soup. This was a thoughtful arrangement. The price seemed great too for the quality.

EDIT: the kombu flakes should not be put in broth as they release a lot of iodine which can cause thyroid problems, only use the kombu in very small finely ground amounts and not in liquid. The other two are fine. Original full review: I like these however they are small pieces. Flavor of each one is good, nice texture when rehydrated and not salty. This is organic and harvested in the US which is a plus as well. There is a lot in each bag so value is worthwhile. I use in dumpling soup, a quick and easy recipe is chicken broth (or the new Swanson ramen broth), one or more of these types of seaweed, ginger paste, sesame oil, green onions and bibigo brand mini wontons. Easy, tasty and healthy.

This was the first time I have tried dried seaweed. The taste is good and it is easy to add to dishes. I bought them for the health benefits; however, the added flavor is subtle and a nice change. I’ve used it in almost everything...including scrambled eggs! Great addition to my kitchen.

Firstly, the order took 12 days to arrive even though I have Prime. Secondly, there should be 3 pouches at 4oz each but the pouch with the Kombu flakes was nearly half empty. They all 3 come in flakes so the quantity should be the same. As for flavor, however, they are quite tasty, even delicious notwithstanding my grave aversion to anything remotely fishy.

Unlike the photos shown here on Amazon I just ordered this bundle and it says on the front now that there is a Prop 65 warning. Meaning it contains cancer causing materials and heavy metals. Would've liked if they showed it on the actual photo or stated this since I ordered this to go into my detoxing shakes for heavy metals and such.

But too expensive.

These are great. I love to sprinkle them on my pop corn.
