Cleared out everything! Very pleased!
The media could not be loaded. Our beach area was so mucky! This has been the only thing that has worked for us. We can see all the way to the bottom of our lake area. See the before before and after pictures.

Very heavy
This blower is rated very high. I did a lot of research and watched many videos. It is probably is great if you can lift it. At no time watching the videos or reading comments did anyone mention it weighs over 70 pounds At that weight it is not as portable as much as we needed. Great product! Just too heavy to move around.

Ineffective
Just not doing much. For 2k, I'd expect it to move some water.

Just Buy It - I wish I hadn't waited so long
The media could not be loaded. I've lived on a lake for 13 years - the area I live is shallow, and I have a lot of Oak Trees. The previous owner did not take care of the lake front very much, so it is a perfect place for muck to accumulate. In addition, it is a no wake zone which means I will get algae buildup. My lake treats with chemicals, but it is hit or miss. I have been looking at aerators for a while but never could commit. This year I was having our annual July 3rd party and my lakefront looked terrible. I decided to commit, and I bought a 3/4 Scott Aerator with the Oscillator (not from Amazon, but reviewing here).Totally worth the money. Huge difference for my whole beach area. I have 3 photos attached.1) Before - with algae accumulated2) After the algae is moved out, but still kicking up a BUNCH of silt/muck - water is not clear3) Sandy bottom emerging. It's still soft, but it is 100x better than it was.The whole area is way better - kids were enjoying it with no complaints.I wish I had purchased earlier.

Don't buy if you're trying to keep lilly pads in control.
I purchase this because a few people said that it was useful in controlling Lily pads. It worked for a little while while then when when they really started to grow all it did was push them over on their side. It also raised my electric bill by about $200 a month running it full time.

Best Lake Cleanup for Lakes and Ponds.
It really pushes muck and some loose weeds away from your shoreline or dock. See #udpduck uncle duck productions for videos of it actually working.

Works well, but bolt sheered off
First off, I have no regrets buying this. We have had so much soil built up over time from erosion on our steep yard that it was impossible to get our boat lift low enough in the water to get our boat out. Couple that with the decaying leaves and gunk that floats into our cove and we decided we needed to do something to prevent our kids from sinking into the murk when they went swimming and creating a deeper area under our lift to get the boat out when water levels dropped. This thing definitely works! However, the bolt that holds the pole assembly together sheered off the first week we had it installed. I am waiting (over a week now) for a response from the vendor after calling Amazon’s product support. I am not sure how Amazon support works, but feel like I would get a better response (or better visibility to any lack of response) contacting the vendor directly, but the link takes you to Amazon product support unlike other products. As you can see from the photos, when the bolt sheered off, the motor dropped into the water at an angle and we discovered it an hour later. The deep hole that was left is indicative of how well this will work once we get it reinstalled. I also recommend getting the oscillator as it is a direct line, so you will have to maneuver the direction of the motor manually to get a larger area covered.

So far it is worth it
We have a 2 acre pond that is only 5.5 ft deep. We traditionally have tried to hold the algae back with chemicals but every year it was a futile effort and money not well spent. So this year, we did not treat the pond at all which lead to 80 percent of the pond being covered by floating mats of algae. Some even had plants growing on the top of them. So after hearing of a neighbors success with a similar muckbuster, I went ahead and went all in on a 1hp version. It took 2 days before seeing visible results. But by day three, the big mats were looking thinner with spaces in between. By day 5, only 20 percent of the pond was covered with algae and after a rain storm on day 6, 5%. The only downside is that theback end unit gets clogged full of algae and requires constant cleaning. Even at the highest setting, I am not able to reach the underside of the aquasweep to pull out all the weeds. If there was an easier way to do this, I would give it 5 stars, as the cloggs does hurt the perfomance if not removed. Now the only question I have is if it can keep up with the ponds natural creation of algae with 80-90 percent of the pond clear and the sun able to reach to the bottom of the pond.
