this is a reorder. I purchased this about 6 months ago to see if it would keep my aquarium water clear and it worked. I use this above the Seachem stone filter, using it in this manner has kept the water clear. I rinse and reuse this once between water changes. I am amazed at how much debris this filter trapped.

I used to use this pad in my sump filter too where it worked great. But now I buy a roll to cut into small rectangles for use in my Fluval Edge. One pack of this filter pad material and some time spent measuring and cutting are a real money saver. The filtration of the dual stage material is also great.

You will be able to cut cost of proprietary filters by cutting you own. These are very washable and reusable even under heavy loads like large goldfish or koi species. 8 tanks to take care of and a roll still will last me 2 months or more. A great value for the money and who does not want to cut costs these days.

It works well on top of your sponge filter. I don’t use charcoal but use this filter pad with the polish pad. My water is very clear compared to not using these filters. I rinse and squeeze them once a month and change them every other month, when flow decreases noticeably. How often you change them depends on your bioload (how many fish per size of tank, generally). So the rate may be different for everyone. At about the 2 month mark, the filter pad starts to separate into 2 layers and i know it is time to change it.The amount in each package is very generous. I am glad i found this item and recommend it to others.

The media could not be loaded.  Exactly what I needed. I uses on my 90 gallon fish tank. These polishing pads can be cut to size and work better then the name brand competition. These pads are a superior quality. I would recommend for fresh or saltwater tank owners.

Easy to cut to size needed. Can clean multiple times. Have purchased from this company many times before and will in the future.

Used in my sump and over head filters, using a template it’s easy to cut to any shape desired.I have found they can be rinsed out a few times before you need to to replace (but this will depend on your particular setup)Great value.

I like the product...... too pricey for the amount you get.
