Product Description
Joey wrote all the songs on 8:09 with Emanuel Kiriakou ("Eman") who first collaborated with Joey on "Meet Joe Mac" (2001). Since then, Eman has accompanied Joey on tour in an acoustic performance affectionately dubbed, "a one man show with two people." It is all preserved on the limited edition live CD "One Too Many" recorded at Joe's Pub in New York City in April, 2002. The album was produced by Eman at Gearbox Studios in Los Angeles. Most of it was recorded during Joey's down time portraying English teacher Colin Flynn on Fox-TV's Boston Public. The album was mixed in New York at The Hit Factory by Tony Maserati except for L.A. Blue which was mixed at Ocean Way Studios in L.A. (where else?) by Jack Joseph Puig.

"It can be really trying when you put your heart and soul into something like this, but we stayed the course and it paid off." "I feel fortunate that I had the freedom to create another independent studio album where I can put my name above the title and know that this is exactly what I want people to hear. My goal was to make sure that the honesty and integrity of each song was real". "8:09 is the best piece of music I have ever been associated with. And I really believe it will resonate with people. This is the one."

Very cool album going into Joeys personal life. Very ketchie music. Great to listen anywear. I had this album before but, this time from Japan which after mailing it here makes it a import. I listened to it in the Kitchen after work yesterday cooking dinner. It played all the way threw like brand new cd. Love it thank-you

I LOVE JOE MAC
For all of you NKOTB lovers out there, this is a must have. This is the best solo work Joe has done besides his Live Version. He has a classic voice and the songs are heartfelt and well produced. Solid album Joe Mac!

this album is full of love songs inspired by his relationship to his now wife. ups and downs, ins and outs, true love at its finest. also some fun songs like california! if you are even thinking about getting it, just do it! he isnt little joey joe anymore, so dont judge him by his past, give it a try and look past the stereotypes of his past!
