Meet Joe Mac by Joey Mcintyre

I absolutely adore this CD.There is only one song I am not too keen on which is NYC Girls.I have been a fan of Joey's since his New Kids days and he was always my favourite. To tell the truth, I missed most of the CDs he released until just recently and I managed to buy most of his songs on iTunes and other places.Joey's voice has matured and he has a powerful voice, he can do fast songs as well as mid-tempo, and he shows an impressive range on this album.However I believe his voice is strongest in a lovely ballad, hence my favourite on this album is Mrs Callahan. I knew this song related to Joey personally as I recognised the name Callahan from a couple of the old New Kids books. He took a risk and it paid off, it's a beautiful ballad and it's basically saying Parents listen to your children.I also love If I Run Into You, it is very catchy and I think we can all relate to this at some point or other.As I first listened to it, I did not like Rain, but now it is one of my favourites on the album.The last two songs One Night and I Don't Know Why I Love You are also worthy of a mention, being quite up-tempo songs but I love his voice on both of them.Easier is also worth a mention as it is a beautiful ballad that proves Joey has a voice to be reckoned with,My only gripe is that none of his music was released in the UK. Why that is I do not know, so us UK fans have had to buy imports or get his songs from other sources. At least Jordan Knight brought some of his music over here.Maybe Joey did not have the support network or was not sure how the UK would receive him as he did promote in other countries, especially with Stay The Same, but anyway, to hear Joey's beautiful voice, a little hard work is nothing if it gets his music to as many people as possible.

This album is now one of my most listened to CD's!! (I was a huuuge NKOTB fan and as I consider them as being a significan part of my pre-teens,I like to hear of what they are up to nowadays!!)Meet Joe Mac comes from the heart and I think it portrays all sides of Joe's personality (from how he comes across as I don't know him personally...I wish!!) from the funny side right to the deep and sentimental side. These aspects really come out in the songs and I personally, tend to feel in the same way as the mood of the song I'm listening to which, for me, shows the greatness of a songwriter!!!I really think that Joe has put his heart and soul into this album and that it has paid off which any old or new fan of his would agree with!!!

Bin sehr positiv überrascht, was für tolle Musik er macht. Ich liebe NKOTB. War einfach ein Muß seine Solo-CD zu kaufen und reinzuhören. Und jetzt liebe ich es. Tolle CD, toller Musiker. Hört einfach rein. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Die Musik ist einfach gut - no mainstream - abwechslungsreich und wird mit jedem Mal "Reinhören" besser. Macht Spaß zuzuhören.

ＮＫＯＴＢが人気だった頃、グループ最年少の彼は、私の中では非常に子供でした。実際には同グループのＪＯＲＤＡＮとも１歳しか違わないんだけど、デビュー当時のチェリーボーイっぽいところ（？）や、活動中に変声期を迎えてしまうようなところが、自分にとってはあまりにも非現実的でした（＾＾；可愛らしすぎたんです。。。元々何気なくＪＯＲＤＡＮのアルバムを検索していて見つけたんですが、見間違えるほどの立派な大人に！ＮＫＯＴＢ時代はさほど彼のボーカルに興味はありませんでしたがこのアルバムを聴いて、感動しました。どの曲もとても大切に唄われている感じが伝わってきます。ＪＯＲＤＡＮとの比較になってしまうけど、元々歌唱力のある彼と違い（ＪＯＥに歌唱力が無いというわけではありません！）、何かしらＪＯＲＤＡＮとは違った、人を引きつける声というか、心のこもったその歌声は、大人になっても天使の声のように感じます。すっかりＪＯＥの歌声にも填ってしまいましたが、個人的には、ＪＯＲＤＡＮは目を開けて聞きたい、ＪＯＥは目を閉じて聞きたいって感じがします。ほんとに素敵な男性になって、感動しました。

センチメンタルなメロディラインとポップなメロディが調和がとれていて全曲よい曲揃いです。昔のビートやメロディラインはこんなだったな〜って、懐かしくなるような、す〜っと浸透していくような心地よい気持ちになります。奮起して活発にしてくれるし、手をかざして引っ張ってくれるような、、。昔懐かしい優しさや暖かさを思い起こしてくれます。Joeyは素敵な永遠のアイドルです。音楽は楽しくてシンプル、これが一番素敵です。美メロ。心が弾みます。Joeyのわんぱくな歌い方と、ちょっとハスキーボイスがマッチして、いいムードをかもしだしてくれてます。暖かい楽曲揃いです。共に作曲したKiriakouとのコンビネーションはバツグンです。NKOTBおよびJoeyファンなら外せない1枚です。なぜこんなに美しい楽曲が揃ったＣＤが再発売してくれないのでしょう？！嘆いちゃいます。本国アメリカではNKOTBは再ブレークしてるのに、メンバーのソロアルバムも復活してほしいものです。ＮＫＯＴＢ大すき！ソウルポップ大好き！永遠！

This is a must-have for NKOTB or Joey Mcintyre fans in the world, the songs are great as well as Stay the Same or Talk to me albums. I remember meeting Joey Mcintyre when he was part of the Dancing with the Stars tour in 2007 and he was so nice and he can dance to as singing, he's talented with that great voice of his, awesome cd from Joey you rock, way to go!!!!!!!!!!!

I love this CD. It came out in a perfect time for me I was in a bad place and this cd helped pull me out. I love my Joey McIntyre.
