Will this fit a 2016 Silverado 5.3

If the the air box is on the left side of engine bay it will more than likely fit. Dont bother, restricts air flow, really lugs down low rpms and kills gas mileage. Go with a name brand that comes with at least a generic tune option. You ill pay for it but won't regret

Will this fit in a 2009 GMC sierra 5.3L V8?

Yes, the filter box requires so modifying (two holes being drilled) but other than that it should take 10 minutes to install

Is this compatible with the mass air flow?

Yes remove from old setup and install and new tube.
