StilGut® UltraSlim, Leather Case for HTC Desire 816 in Book Type Style, Black

The amount of cases available for the HTC Desire 820 is in very short supply. About 95% of the cases are made of poor material and don't protect the phone very well. That's where the StilGut UltraSlim Leather case comes in to fill the void. A bit more expensive than the other case options for this phone, but what you get what you pay for. This phone case is very, very sturdy. I had originally looked for a case that didn't have a screen protector, but boy am I glad I did. The inside of this case is backed with a very nice microfiber cloth that helps protect your phone screen. Unfortunately there is no sort of clasp that holds the lid to this case closed, but it's stellar construction makes it a non-issue. When the case is closed, on the left side where the power/volume buttons are, these buttons are still accessable due to the cutouts on the strong plastic inside that holds the phone, which makes raising/lowering volume whilst closed a non-issue.The only other downfalls I see in this product are that because it does have a lid attached to the case, taking photos with the phone can become slightly cumbersome, but only a minor inconvenience. The other downfall is the sheer expensive price this case is listed at.Bottom line: A luxury price will get you a luxury case with tried and true German craftsmanship.

This is a beautiful leather case for my HTC 816 phone. There don't seem to be many cases available and the ones that are ship from China and take forever to arrive. So when I saw this one with Prime it was worth it to get it in 2 days. The case itself is great, very nice feel, very rich looking. The phone fits perfectly and it doesn't add much weight. It doesn't have the sleep feature, but that was not a deal breaker. It is much more expensive than the others, more than I wanted to spend, but again, it is real leather and I'm hoping it will last. All in all I'm very happy with this case. Would recommend it.

I really wish this product included the magnetic feature in the cover that turns the screen on when you open the case and off again when the case is closed. I have had that feature in the last few cases I have had for my phone, and once you have had that benefit, it is very hard to live without. I tried very VERY hard to enjoy this case because the craftmanship was just exquisite and the design of the case was very pleasing to the eye and looked and felt very high-end. The product is of quality, just lacking small features other, less expensive cases, provide. I hope in the future, perhaps a new generation of this case will include the magnetic on/off feature.

its very nice....but expensive

I am not going to lie, even though this case was a little more expensive than most I still did not have really high expectations. I am pleased to say i was proved wrong, StilGut made an amazing case. It fits like a glove, all the seams are perfectly made (no dangling strings, no edges cockeyed, smooth edges) I am very impressed. I will use this company for my next phone purchase whenever that may be. And the leather is very nice, when they say its a high class case they meant it.

The selection of cases for this phone are very limited for some reason. Luckily I found this company and I am happy with my decision. Overall it's a nice quality case that fits the phone perfectly. Definitely adds class to your phone instead of some plastic toy style looking case. Also cool that it is actually made and shipped from Germany.

J'ai eu cette housse de chez StilGut pendant 2 ans et elle à extrêmement bien tenue.Certe le simili c'est un peu abimé, mais elle ne d'est pas déchiré ou cassé, j'en suis donc très content.

This is just a beautiful case. I've been using it now for several weeks and its holidng up well and gives me pleasure whenever I use it. The only problem I'm having is that the leather around the solid retaining back is fraying a little on the sharp edges due to use.

Dieses Case ist wirklich Klasse.Es passt wie angegossen, das Telefon ist sehrgut geschützt. Alle Bedienelemente sind gut zugänglich, auch der Micro-USB Anschluß. Der super Stereosound ist auch bei geschlossenen Case voll da durch die beiden Aussparungen in der Front.Aber das beste ist die Verarbeitung, einfach handwerklich super verarbeitet und eine excellente Lederqualität.
