great shoe, with a catch
first of all lets get the good out of the way. people say the shoe is narrow, but it's adidas and i actually found mine to fit pretty normal. it feels tight at first and by the time you're on the second hole you have to tighten it up a little. very comfortable and definitely waterproof. i was in some deepish water during an early round and my feet stayed bone dry. they are also very good looking as a matter of personal preference. they are also very light.here is the bad: they have a different spike lock on the bottom of the shoe than footjoy or nike. you insert the spike and then half twist it. that means you are buying adidas replacements. it also means if you are a big guy (the guy i spoke to about the warranty told me 200+) they will not stay in for very long. after 3 rounds and 2 or 3 range visits the spikes on the outside of my left shoe (where you put pressure when you finish your swing) will come out during my swing. put them back and they will come out again. the bracket itself looks like it may have taken some damage. i was told by the guy servicing my warranty (not taylormade/adidas, but my store rep) that this is a common problem and he's seen many returns and the re-return when they send them a replacement for the same problem.take it for what it's worth, but if you are a bigger guy you might want to look elsewhere for a shoe. i don't want to go too low on the rating because they're good shoes, just not for me.EDIT* Adidas has replaced the shoe with the newer model. The spike pattern is different, but i'll put my comments on that shoe's page. It's called the adizero one. I am glad adidas remedied the situation.

They're shoes! Like gloves but on your feet!
Purchased these after I my several year old Nike Durasports began to hurt my feet by mid-round (riding/cart path only). After some mild research and seeing these on sale on another website though not in my size I pulled the trigger on these. Have played three rounds in them with no complaints. They are very lightweight and comfortable. I could see where they would be too narrow for some based on other reviews but I've always had success with Adidas running shoes. The cut reminds me a little of a soccer cleat with a low profile lower and feel that these fit similarly in width to the Supernova glide 4/5s that I've been running in for a while. It may just be in my head but I also feel as there is a noticeable increase in grip with these which employ a ten softspike spike alignment over the seven Champ spike array on the durasports they replaced. The sole of the shoe is a little harder than you would anticipate and thus produces a little more noise when walking on hard surfaces, though not to an irritating level suggested in other reviews. I do find myself avoiding walking on paths for lengthy distances and will often opt to walk alongside the path if need be, as much to mitigate the noise as is to protect the longer spikes from the concrete. Having had quite a bit of rain since I've purchased these I can attest to the fact that they do keep water out well as I've traipsed off into the nether-regions of a few courses searching for errant shots that have nothing to do with the shoes. The only potential complaint I've had is the longer, more protruding spikes almost caught on a clump of very long grass which would have lead to me taking a spill down an overgrown grassy hillside during one of my aforementioned search for a wayward ball. Proceed with caution if you're prone to having to fish your ball out of tall weeds on hillsides.Overall, a very comfortable, lightweight, traction-giving, stylish-looking shoe I look forward to wearing for some time.

Didn't work for my feet! Heed the size warnings!
A very important thing to keep in mind with shoe reviews is that they are very unreliable. Obviously, everyone has their own unique foot shape and size. Consequently, reading reviews from people who may or may not have the same shaped feet is a crap shoot. Having said that, the toe box on the Adizero tour is ridiculously narrow for me. I don't have wide feet. I had the regular size width and that didn't work for me at all. I have since tried on a few other Adidas shoes and found them all on the very narrow side. I got caught up in the Adizero reduced weight hype but, honestly I didn't really notice the difference while walking. It's possible that the discomfort of forming blisters impacted my perception of the reduced weight. I only wore the shoes for two rounds and it's quite possible that they might "break in" with continued use. Given the synthetic materials I don't believe there will be much loosening of the "leather". The one positive thing I can say is that the 10 spike design has great grip! So, if you have super thin feet these Adizero's might be a great shoe for you. For me, I play golf almost every day and walk at least nine holes, I need a Rolls Royce on my feet not a ford fiesta. I just bit the bullet and bought the Ecco Biom Hybrid, pulled them out of the box and walked 18 holes. They are by far and above and I mean light years far from Adizero in terms of quality and feel. They, quite literally, are now the most comfortable shoes I own and I'm a little bit of a shoe fanatic so that is saying something. I hope this review is helpful to those who take the time to read it! Aloha...

Very poor design - they tear up greens.
I have a mixed review on these golf shoes. They are exceptionally comfortable, and I love the style. However, they tear up greens very badly. The first few times I wore them, I noticed that they left some pretty hefty imprints in the greens, but I figured they were just temporary indentations. But since then, several different groups that I have played with have pointed out how much my spikes tear up the greens. I decided to do a Google search, and sure enough, there are several complaints about this issue. In fact, apparently some courses have banned these spikes because of how badly they can damage greens, ESPECIALLY if the greens are even slightly wet.I believe these are the 2013 model. I think this issue has been addressed in the newer models. If you do purchase these spikes, be extra careful wearing them on soft/wet greens and be SURE not to walk in anybody's line. Since golf shoes are even more important in wet conditions, you'd probably be best off just purchasing something else.

Not waterproof
I wore these three times and each time my feet got wet .The first time of wearing, it rained throughout the round, so I put my damp feet down to that. However my feet were wet on the second and third times. I'm sure it wasn't foot perspiration, so the shoes went back. There was no problem with receiving a refund and the return postage was refunded as well. It's a pity as i'm a big fan of Adidas. I've since purchased a pair of Footjoy XPS-1s from Ebay at half the normal price! I haven't tried them yet, so fingers crossed!

Great shoes
I was a bit hesitant about buying these from a couple of comments. All I can say is these are the best golf shoes I've had. They are really comfortable and incredibly light. The first time I wore them it was raining so perfect opportunity to put them to the waterproof test. My feet were bone dry so I'm very happy I went ahead and bought them.

Very light weight
and the flexible sole help me with less fatigue. One problem, it is a bit difficult to feel the green condition(Hardness) because the sole+spike is a little thick and soft...
