This book is like attending the best business MasterClass. I read many entrepreneurship books and never have I ever found one that made me pause, highlight, take photos AND take notes for applicable gems for my business. Jaime is a true business genius and along with sharing the must-know things to build a successful product-based business, Super Maker also makes mention of mistakes made along the way that I find so helpful.It’s a must-read for any business owner!

If I'd wanted a bio--I would have bought that. This book got a great review in a recent crafting magazine, so I ordered it. By the time I had a chance to start reading it & realized my error, which was exactly 7 days, my time allotment for returning it expired--that very day. <sigh> So I'm stuck with it.

I was cheering for Jaime the entire read. I am starting a business & needed perspective on a couple big decisions. Jaime's thoughts helped me put my issues in a bigger perspective.Thank you Jaime for fighting thru it all & building something great. I was introduced to your Jasmine Tea deodorant thru a subscription box & it was the most intriguingly beautiful smell that'd ever graced my nose. I wear it as perfume because it makes me happy & I get compliments like crazy on it.

As an owner of a digital first brand with my own first to market 100% natural in it's category, I am a fan of Jaime's founder story. I only wish it had been published 3 years ago. This story is a reminder of the opportunity for hard-working entrepreneurs with tenacity and grit. Super maker reiterates the obsessive attention to detail and quality needed to make it as an entrepreneur. So many founders lose their way when they grow their business above a million or two million a year. Jaime remarkably was able to build the right team and grow the Schmidt's natural brand to a formidable leader in its category against CPG juggernauts. Super maker offers solid advice and is an easy read. Key points of every chapter are succinctly highlighted. I highly recommend these valuable lessons and I'm buying a couple more copies for my team members.

Not sure what I was expecting from this book, but it definitely delivered! I just got it the other day, and already 1/2 way through the book! If I didn’t have things to do, I’d be finish by now! Never since high school have I been so eager to read through a book, or get to the next chapter. I’m also not a fan of people’s personal stories. I usually like to get to the point...but this book is a good mix of both!I discovered this book by watching one of my favorite YouTubers endorse it after receiving it as a gift from the author/her team. Guess Influencers really work! After my interest peeked, I checked the reviews on Amazon ans they were greaf! Definitely a must have!

This is the most honest and helpful entrepeneurship book I've read. I've read many good ones that I've put into practice but it's not always easy to move from the theory to the, "okay, and now HOW do I do that?". Supermaker his is the first book I read that moves away from the theory and provides evidenced-based and practical tips in the most honest, digestible and transparent way. Jaime does an amazing job on explaining the A to Z of having a business and everything it takes, both emotionally and professionally, along the way. As a business owner, I identified with several parts of the book and thought about changes I can make to improve the business. Jaime does an outstanding job taking you through the branding, thinking and communicating your mission, connecting with your consumer, commonly used terms in the industry, how to prepare your pitch and approach buyers, legal, trade shows, operations and formulation, all the way to acquisition. I wish I had read this before starting a business! It really is a crash course on entrepeneurship and I'm so happy and grateful I found this book!

I like this book enough to maybe give it four stars, but I'm having a hard time classifying it. It reads more like a biography than an advice book for entrepreneurs. That said, there is a great deal of 'Here's what happened' and 'Here's what you should look out for.' But don't think that this is a primer for a small business owner.

I love Jaime's book! It had me on the edge of my bed, literally! She takes you through her entire journey from beginning to end, leaving no stone unturned. She lets you into the mindset she had in running her business, her doubts, and even at times, her vulnerability as a founder. The transparency in her story helps you understand what it is like as a female founder to bootstrap a business, take care of a family, and still keep everything afloat. From her journey to making products, how she sold her first product, how she won customers' hearts by building community, and how she landed in retail and eventually to a successful exit, it's all in the book! One theme that resonates in her book is the power of keeping the customer's first, valuing customer feedback, and maintaining positive relationships. Without those, there is no viable business.I am so thankful for her story and for putting herself out there. Her persistence and passion for continuing to press forward with her business, regardless of not knowing what the outcome would be, at times, was remarkable. She showed us how to follow our instincts as we propel our business forward. So thank you to Jaime for leaning into her passion and for taking us along for the ride. Shout out to Oliver, her son, and Chris, her husband, for holding her down throughout the journey!This book is an entrepreneur's must-have!

I was expecting a good book on starting and levelling a small creative business but it's sadly not. This is one craft business woman's auto biography. It's still a good read, just not what I was expecting.

Highly recommend to all the women entrepreneurs out there....it can be very useful for the beginners Like craft people , soap makers , artist and so on.... Wow. what am amazing journey and path Jaime takes you on throughout this book. She takes you along every step of the way, what has worked what hasn't, how she evolved so quickly to stay ahead of the industry in natural products. This book teaches you so much. From barcodes to ingredients to investors. I'm blown away and can honestly say that's it's the best book I've ever read. I went through the book in 8 hours in one sitting. That says alot. This is a fantastic book. It is full of tactical wisdom but reads like a highly engaging fiction novel - it's hard to put down. Jaime's voice shines through and she speaks in a compelling, modest manner about the personal and professional challenges of building from scratch. I will be purchasing several copies of this book for budding entrepreneurs.
