Awesome shower rod and easy to install!!
This is a great quality Moen product! It was really easy to install and adds some nice space to the showering area. Moen provided instructions and hardware for installing in studded and non-studded locations on the wall, but if you're installing this in a typical bathtub area then chances are you will be installing it where the stud frame is located. With that said, I didn't have to do any drilling, I just grabbed 4 drywall screws that I had laying around and used those. If you don't have drywall screws, then you can get a bulk container of them pretty cheap and then use them for most things that you need to attach to your wall. For alignment, I didn't use their cutout template, I just went about an inch up from the stall on both sides and screwed in the bottom screw on each side, then I screwed in the top screws and tightened all around. The one thing that you have to remember is to put the covers on the rod before you attache it to the wall! Also, the covers are 2 different sizes because the size of the rod is 2 different sizes on each end. This was easy to install and looks awesome! I'll have to remember to get some pics taken when I have a chance.

I love my moen curved shower rod
I love my moen curved shower curtain rod. It looks great/royalty, with more elbow space. Directions for installation was clear, though with little challenge on the mount location. My husband drilled the holes on my desired mount location, but couldn't go as deep to contain the entire length of the flush before he met a stud. In the process of trying to insert the first flush into the hole, it got messed up and we ended up not using the accompanied flush and screws. We searched and luckily purchased shorter set of flush and screws from LOWES, thankfully, it was neatly installed finally. I recomend it.

Cute Overall
I ordered a like new one to save some money. It was missing a piece. The install wasn’t as easy as I anticipated. You have to drill through plastic guards to make holes for the mounting piece. I recommend doing that prior to trying to put it in the wall. It’s also darker than pictured (brushed gold one). I still like it and think it looks cute!

Great quality and finish - stronger than tension mount type
Like most of Moen’s products, this thing is built well. I have two small children and a wife that sometimes uses towel bars as grab bars (pulled the bar clear out of the drywall-lesson learned for me to always overdo the mounting). I first bought a tension rod mounted one and planned on adding strength by using silicone on the end plates. However, i thought better if it and wanted to make sure I wouldn’t have to re-do the install because my kids were playing in the bathroom or something. The only reason I didn’t initially plan on installing the hardware type mount like this model was because I would have to drill into my new tile shower wall. Yes, it was more work than a tension type install, but after installing it, I think it’s clear that the rod would probably bend before tearing out of the wall.Pros:-The brushed finish on the bar isn’t painted on like others I found so I am less worried about it wearing off.-Very sturdy all metal construction. As it is screw-in only, the ends (under the decorative covers) are solid metal so I really am not worried about it breaking easily, if at all.-Installation. By no means is it quick (compared to tension type install) but it is pretty straightforward. If you have to install through tile (in my case it was .25”porcelain tile), I recommend getting a really good drill bit rated for that tile type. I used one that wasn’t so good and I had used it several times before so it had dulled a fair amount. This added up to it taking much longer than normal to drill each of the four holes. Get the right tools for the job and you’ll have no issues (also use good anchors- I used DuoPower and they worked great).Cons:-Mounting hardware. The included mounting hardware is pretty much only acceptable for drywall installation or if you have studs right where you want to mount it (or if you planned ahead and put blocks behind the wall where you planned on installing it). Been so, if you are installing in drywall, I probably wouldn’t use their drywall anchors. They aren’t bad, just basic. I ended up using DuoPower anchors that used #8 screws (the recommended #10 screws). This also worked well since these anchors required a 5/16” hole to be drilled and that just so happened to be the size tile drill bit that I had.Overall, great product. Take your time installing it and you won’t regret going with a hardware mount over tension mount.

Long Lasting
Have had this rod for over a year now and am very happy with everything about it.It was a little difficult to install, I was a little nervous to drill through our tile in our shower but after a few you tube videos we were able to confidently mount the bar.Would but again.

Very solid installation, quality product
A very nice looking chrome curved shower rod. Quality design that does not wiggle where one length slides into the other. Once mounted, there is no play or give at all, very solid piece.

Much sturdier then the other one I had.
Ordered on prime day. Good price. The one it replaced lasted 6 years. It was a double one which I never liked. It had plastic bases that you couldn’t really tighten down because it would crack. Eventually the bases did start cracking and the curved rod became very flimsy. It was a nice surprise to see how solid the bases on this one were. Time will tell but it looks like it is a winner. I paid a lot less for it, but having seen it now I would have had no problem paying a bit more.
