Tasty French Grey Sea Salt - Good Size for Decent Price
Tasty French Grey Sea Salt; brings out the flavor in everything I use it on! Surprisingly works well in my grinder compared to some other grey salts I've used. It's unrefined and hand-harvested, providing a natural finishing to any meal. We use it daily on one thing or the other. Our package came in a perfect state, not too wet & not too dry. There's also a convenient reseal sticker, so you can fold down the bag and hold it in place. This is a good-sized package for the price, I'm sure I will purchase again.

My favorite salt!
On a wild hunch, I bought this fancy salt hoping that it might help stimulate my appetite, and add trace minerals to my diet. Since then, it's become my favorite salt to use for everything. It has a complex flavor profile, without being too overpowering. It keeps perfectly in an airtight mason jar; then I'll grind it up a little with an ordinary mortar and pestle just before use. I've even added it to a hot soaking bath on occasion. This salt also makes a GREAT last-minute gift, on the fly! I'll put some in a jeweled jelly jar, add a label on my way out the door - and so far, it's been a big hit with anybody who likes food. Next time, I'll order a larger bag.

Delicious and Healthy
Use this salt for ALL my cooking. I thought salt was salt but boy was I wrong. I will never use any other salt again. Be sure to store it in a sealed glass container when it arrives. It is okay that it looks and feels a little wet. You want it that way and helps the flavor. Make sure your salt mill is made of ceramic and not metal. Salt will corrode the metal and you do not want that in your food. This salt is not as hard as Himalayan salt so you do not have to worry about it breaking your mill. I recommend it to everyone I talk to.

A bit pricey, but worth it. We consume salt daily why not eat natural
At first I thought way to expensive for salt. After using it I’m impressed on the quality and flavor. I ended up seeing the process of how in France the get this salt . It’s rare and delicate so I can see why the salt is a bit pricey. I think a it’s worth the price as this is what I use to feed my family without chemicals.

Sel Gris is the gold standard.
This is the most delicious salt. We keep several salts on hand for different purposes - regular iodized table salt for most cooking, as it dissolves easiest and because iodine; Maldon flakes for a topping salt, and for fermenting since it's not iodized; Kosher salt for salting meat, and this Sel Gris for anything where I want the flavor of the salt to be prominent, and for my homemade sourdough. The flavor of this salt is the best, I love the way it hangs together and seems less processed. If you are on the fence due to price, please, give it a try, it is an indulgent purchase but does make a difference in the flavor of the food.

Good stuff! Yum!
I've tried a number of different salts but none have had the subtlety and taste that this has. I don't know much about the process of how it's made but the end product? Great! This comes damp, which surprised me when I first got it. That means you'll need a specific wet salt grinder if you want to go that route. Personally I keep mine in a bamboo salt box: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B003PBHGHG which dries it out just fine after a little time. Then I rub the salt between my fingers to break it the size down a bit but keep it rocky.

Best I've used
Never thought I'd write a review for salt, but here I am and I must say that this stuff is amazing. It has a much more complex flavor than white refined table salt. By comparison refined white salt is harsh, acidic and bad tasting. Sorry I can't be more specific but I'm not a professional gourmand. I have noticed a distinct improvement in the flavor of all the items I use this with, as opposed to white table salt. It is so much better for soups, meat dishes, anything. I've tried a few different types of unrefined salts and this one beats them all.

Salty Pleasure
The salt of choice in this household has been the Pink Himalayan for years, with a prerequisite grinder.Read an article in an online e-mail from a recipe subscription that I receive, and the Gray French Salt was recommended. Decided to take a chance and order this 2lb bag.Oh what a difference, sooooooo much better than what I have been using. Night and day better. I am totally sold, this will be my choice going forward.Do not hesitate if you are on the fence, you will NOT regret choosing this as your household salt for cooking and baking.
