Great product, works awesome
This water pic is great, it has different power settings and it come with 2 types of tips (one tip type has a double for a total of 3 tips). I only use the water jet and not the gum line tip. If you have regular teeth and don't need anything special then one tip is all you need. Give it a week and you will get the hang of using it bc the 1st week I made a big mess with the water jet, It can be tricky to control and not get all the counter and mirror wet, but once you get the hang of it, the device is very handy and works great, better than the phillips sonic care airfloss (in my opinion) bc I like the continuos jet of water that you can feel cleaning. I use it every day at night before brushing my teeth, all the food particles fall right out. If you have dental pockets or hard to reach places this will clean and make your breath fresher. The 1st week can be tough and your gums will most likely bleed especially if you do not floss on the regular. Just start at the lowest setting and work your way up to a setting that is comfortable. The kit comes with 2 cups one for water and the other if you need to measure out medicine or any other type of liquid that requires dilution. I use mouthwash in the smaller cup and peroxide with water once a week in the large cup. The only issue that I don't like is that it can be a little loud where using it.

High water volume water flosser. Going strong at 2 years.
I really like my Waterpik. I've had it about two years and it is still going strong. A water flosser shouldn't replace traditional flossing but it does give you a deep down clean feeling that I had only experienced at the dentist prior to water flossing. It has a couple nice features that I would like to point out. The Waterpik Professional Water flosser comes assembled in the box with three nozzles. There is space to store four nozzles in the front of the base. The reservoir can hold 1000 mL of water and doubles as a dust cover by turning it over. The cord on the handle is generous. The handle attaches to the base by sliding into a molded hole in the base. There is a knob that switch on the left side of the base that turns the pump on and off (binary). There is a six setting slide switch on the handle that controls the volume of water flow from low to high. The tubing that attaches to the handle has memory in it and quickly and neatly coils up and stores inside the base when not in use which makes it a welcome aesthetic addition to my bathroom counter. There is no built in timer which pauses or stops the waterflow. 1000 mL of water is pumped out over two minutes so you don't have to refill it during a flossing session. The water pressure at this speed is very high (you can squirt someone 20 feet away if you want to). I cannot use the highest two speeds comfortably. The Waterpik water flosser is easy to use. First I fill the reservoir which detaches from the base so you can fill it under the faucet, put the nozzle in my mouth, turn on the pump with the switch on the base, and set the speed with the switch on the handle. I let the water flow out of my mouth into the sink. One you get used to it, there is no water spray or mess when using it. Summary: The Waterpik has a water flow rate of 500 mL per minute at its highest setting. The Waterpik comes with three nozzles. Replacement Waterpik nozzles are readily purchasable. The Waterpik's reservoir holds 1000 mL. The Waterpik has six articulated settings that you set on the handle. Reservoir doubles as a dust cover. Flosser
I am very happy with this Flosser, it cleans so well and holds enough water to do the job.

Awful, unless you're into torture accompanied by the sound of a jackhammer
This was such a disappointing purchase. I wanted to love it! I didn't think I could have such strong feelings about an oral hygiene tool, but I actually hate it. I had used the Waterpik Ultra recently and decided to get something like it for my home. I decided on this Waterpik model. OK, so first the good: The tank is nice and big. I didn't need to refill it like I always do on the ultra. And I like how it can be flipped over to cover everything up. That is where the good stuff ends. It sounds like a jackhammer, which would be fine - I could deal with it - if not for all the rest of it's major flaws. It has numerous speeds, but basically it's either slightly more than a trickle (on the first setting) or an intensely hard and unbearable blast of water (on every other setting). The second to lowest speed made my gums bleed, which was no surprise, since they felt like they were being violently assaulted. (On the upside, I bet it would easily clean tile grout in the shower.) OK, so to be clear, the speeds are "useless" and "OUCH". It kept making me feel like I was going to drown and my bathroom and clothing ended up soaked when I was done. (While this can be normal when getting used to a water flosser, I've used the Ultra model dozens of times without any of these issues and generally use it on the middle settings). The handle feels flimsy and uncomfortable in my hand. The pause button seems to be in an awkward place. I also found the tips to be a little tricky to get in. This is getting returned immediately. I tried it for a few days, thinking I'd get used to it, but I only ended up getting mad that it sucks so bad. I almost wonder if it's a knock off, because can a reputable company like Waterpik actually make such an awful product? And why so many positive reviews? In this case, it's worth it to spend a few dollars more and get something better. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Awkward to use
I’m thinking about returning this item. The water capacity is good, but the noise level and the water going everywhere is crazy and stressful. I tried my best to cover my mouth and keep the water from splashing, but it didn’t help much. The pause button is very awkward to use as well.
